I have a question about the 2 day/ 2 park with 3 FREE days ticket that is online. It states it is only good for 5 consecutive days. However, the 2day/2park ticket says you can use 1 day and the other day never expires. I am confused. We have a trip in October with a 4 day cruise planned in the middle of our Orlando stay. So, could we go to Universal on 10-21 and then return and use the rest of our days on 10-26, 27 and 28? Or if we activated the ticket on 10-21 would our 5 days have expired before we could use them? Does this make sense? :confused3

General Ticket Questions

- What is the best ticket for me?

If you are from outside the state of Florida, or have never been to Universal Orlando® Resort before, then the 2 Day/2 Park Ticket is the best ticket for you. The two (2) days should give you enough time to experience both of the two parks - Universal Studios Florida AND Islands of Adventure. And, for buying online, you will also receive three (3) additional days for FREE. So, if you can't see it all in two (2) days, or want to experience attractions & shows like the Incredible Hulk Coaster or Fear Factor Live again, you can easily come back.

- Why should I buy my tickets online?

Purchasing your tickets online, here at www.universalorlando.com, is the best way to prepare for your visit to the Orlando area. Here are just three reasons why:

When you buy online, you can save time & money when compared to buying at the front gate.
Buying in advance allows you to better plan your trip to the Orlando area.
When you buy the 2 Day/2 Park Ticket online, you get three (3) additional days for FREE

Three Flexible Options!

You can save $8 per ticket when you buy online and receive two (2) days admission to both Universal Studios Florida AND Islands of Adventure theme parks.

Choose 1 of the 3 online options:

KIDS FREE & THREE DAYS FREE
You will receive one kid's ticket (ages 3-9) for FREE for every ticket purchased. And, you will also receive three (3) additional days for FREE, for a total of five (5) consecutive days of admission.

This offer is only available online.

THREE ADDITIONAL DAYS FOR FREE
You will receive three (3) additional days for FREE, for a total of five (5) consecutive days of admission.

This offer is only available online.

NON-EXPIRING DAYS
After your first day, you can save the second unused day, which will ALWAYS be available for your next visit

From reading it, consective days would mean five straight days in a row, so if you start on the 21st of Oct, you could re-enter the 21st/22nd/23rd/24th/25th but not any days later (26th-28th in your case) .. you could go with the 2-day ticket and no expire date (so you could go the 21 st and 26 th) or you could go with the 2-park power pass .. which is the annual pass w/ blackout dates.

(the blackout dates:
Easter/Spring Break: April 10-14, 2006; April 15, 2006 (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
Summer Weekdays: June 26-30, 2006; July 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, 24-28, 2006; July 31-August 4, 2006
Winter Holidays: December 23, 2006 – January 1, 2007)

Consecutive means consecutive. If you miss a day on the 5 day tickets, you just lose those days. They will expire 5 days from the first day that you use them.

You can buy a 2 day non-expiring ticket and then add a 3rd day for $15 at the park that will not expire. That is your only choice unless you buy an annual pass.

Here is what the website states:

In summary, you can only choose one of the options, either the kids free tickets with the three extra consecutive days, the three extra consecutive days, or the use one day and the next day at a later time. So if you want the five days they need to be used all at the same time.

Okay, now it makes sense. Thanks for the explaination.

For the two day/ get third day free: you must use all 3 days within a week of first use. It's been around almost a year.
