Ticket expiration

We are going to DL on June 10-12, and we were wondering if she could use the passes she saw at Safeway that expire June 10th. I thought I had read that as long as the pass is first used by the expiration date it is ok. Anybody know for sure?

No, sorry to say. These are Promotional 3-day park hoppers, "Ticket expires 13 days after the first day of use or June 10, 2012, whichever occurs first, and first day of use must occur on or before May 28, 2012. "

When I saw passes that were expired at Safeway, I was about to get them, but called DLR beforehand to be sure. I told the CM that I had JUST purchased tickets and noticed that they were expired, the CM told me that I could take them to the ticket booths where I would have to pay the difference to bump it up from the dollar value on the card to the price of a ticket in the park. So really, it's not worth the hassle :/
