Ticket expiration?

So Corey was encouraging people to buy their Universal tickets now because the price will likely go up- so do these tickets never expire? We don't currently have a trip planned, but I am sure we'll get over there sometime in the next 5 years...would they still be good?

What About WDW tickets? If I bought them now could we use them later or do they expire in a year or something? As far as I understand the "no expiration" option is only so the days don't expire once you start using your ticket.

Anyone know for sure?

A WDW ticket expires 14 days after first use or never if you buy the expiration option. If you buy a ticket today but do not use it until Jan 1st 2012 it will expire Jan 14th 2012.

Universal is offiering a 2 park 7 day ticket for $99. That one expires 7 days from first use

Cool! Maybe I can talk DH into buying all of our tickets now (as a way to save money of course ) and then that way we will be prepared in case a spontaneous trip needs to occur!
