Ticket Discounts?

I'm a frequent disney visitor...but April will be my first time as a DVC Member and I have some questions about DVC Ticket discounts...

Are there any ticket discounts for the standard Base Park Tickets? I can only find DVC discounts for annual passes.

Is there Any advantage to buying Park Tickets at a DVC resort vs. the regular Ticket booths? (other than maybe a shorter line)

No, there are no DVC discounts on any MYW tickets. As you have discovered, there is a DVC discount on annual and premium annual passes.

If you are one that likes to have the tickets encoded onto a room key, you need to buy the tickets at the resort. CMs generally do not put used tickets on a room key. But other than that there is no advantage - I'm not so sure the line at the resort is always shorter than at the ticket booths.

Many guests buy their MYW tickets in advance to get a discount.
