Ticket Discounts for Points Renter?

I hope this is in the right place?

If I choose to rent points from the forum here, etc. am I able to obtain any discount on the tickets to the park during my stay? Also, If I get a reservation through renting points more than six months out will I be able to make reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table before the six month mark? TIA!

DVC members don't get any discounts on tickets.

As for ADRs, just like any on-site guest, you can book your ADRs 180 days out from the start of your trip, for 10 days worth of reservations (180+10).

There are no ticket discounts for renters, and the only discount available to members is a discount on APs, regular tickets are not discounted for members.


The dining reservations are the same for all on site guests, cash or DVC.

DVC members are only able to get discounts on Annual passes and some very minor discounts at the water parks and other side attractions. Those discounts though are obtained using the membership card and are not handled through the reservation process so I doubt you would be able to receive any of these.

As far as the reservation time is concerned, the only advice that I can give would be to call at the 6 month point prior to the first day of your stay and you should be able to get an ADR for any time during your stay.

Try purchasing your tickets from Undercovertourist.com. That's where a lot of DVCer's buy their tickets. Even before joining we'd buy our tickets from there rather than direct from Disney. You can also sign up for a monthly newletter from mousesavers.com and they will have special deals on tickets from undercovertourist.

If you rent a reservation from a member, you will get only the perks that all Disney resort guests get - access to EMH, use of Disney transportation, charging to the room, delivery of packages that you bought at the parks to your resort.

You are not entitled to any DVC member perks at all.
