Ticket Dilemma - Help

Okay....my parents are going with us to WDW the end of November. Their original plan was to go to Key West and out to Dry Tortugas and then only be with us in the parks for 3 days. Well now Dry Tortugas is closed and they gave me a time frame of 2 to 4 weeks. So it looks like they may or may not be doing that. However I only bought them 3 day parkhopper tickets that expire 12/31/05. Now though if they stay the extra 3 days I really need MYW tickets instead so we can add days. I plan on listing them on ebay - but I know I wouldn't recommend ebay for tickets to anyone. Any suggestions on how to list them - and do you think we'll get what we have in them? I really would like to have the option of them adding days to a MYW ticket just in case than having to buy another short ticket which will cost so much more in the long run. Any ideas??

I would think the only way you are going to get what you put in to them is to list them through a reserve price.

Shame I just bought a 3 day Hopper pass or I would have bought them.

Well I just got off the phone with Sunny Days Catamarans and they have been given a tentative date of 11/19 for Dry Tortugas to be reopened. That gives us a week to spare so I might not have to worry about it at all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Can't you just trade up at guest services, and they will put what you paid for the hppers toward a longer ticket..even if you didn't buy from Disney

I wish - if they were MYW tickets I could. Unfortunately I bought them from wdwspecials.com - the company that sells to business members and they cannot have additional days added to them. I thought I was doing good saving my mom $30 since they only wanted 3 day tickets and I don't see my dad returning. Then the hurricane hit Dry Tortugas and if they can't go there then they'll be with us and I ended up costing them more money.
