Ticket deals and specials?

When we went to the parks years ago, we ended up getting a 5-day hopper for the price of a 3-day. I think this was 2010. Anyone know if they still do deals like this or if that was basically a one-time kind of thing?

Also, when do they typically come out with deals/specials on tickets?

(I'm talking about Disneyland, themselves. Not other websites and whatnot.)

The only ticket deals I've seen offered from DLR have been after the first of the year, and sometimes lasting until just before spring break begins. But I haven't seen this in a while. Now most ticket offers are tied into packages at the resort hotels.

Orbitz has a deal on DLR hoppers where you get an extra day free with a 3 or 4-day hopper.

At this point, Disneyland isn't really offering any ticket deals. I would keep an eye on the Offers and Discount page to see if any new offers appear.

Otherwise, you might also keep tabs on the Disneyland Resort Update (from Mouseplanet). They list the current deals on the bottom part of the update.

We aren't going until February 2015 so I think I'll be waiting quite a while.
