Ticket Conundrum.....

Hey All,

I have a little bit of an issue. We have a reservation coming up April 1. Myself, DW and DD all have our AP's (this will be the 3rd use!) but my DD's BFF who is coming along needs a ticket. I was thinking of taking advantage of the DVC 25th ticket offer, but there is a very small chance that DD BFF will not come. The chance is small, but don't want to be stuck with the tickets. The issue is we cannot add her BFF to the FP+ without a valid ticket.

Question is, if I buy the ticket and then it doesn't get used, can I save it to use another time, or upgrade it to an AP for one of us later? We likely wont renew our AP's at the end of April as we may not be back until next year and we will buy the AP's then....so perhaps we can use it then if we are able.

TIA!

Yes, if your DD BFF does not go on the trip you can reassign her ticket to one of you for a future trip. If you do use it for one of you in the future towards an AP you will only be credited the amount you paid for the ticket. It will not be "bridged" to gate price. This would need to be done in person.

Just as the above poster said, if it is not used, it is not lost.

You just enter the ticket on MDE and then assign it to your guest. If she doesn't go, you can reassign it to anyone else on MDE.

That will work as long as you manage the profile. If the boyfriend has his own profile, he'll have control of the ticket.
