Since when is a ticket for Wet and Wild not good at Epcot? We spent the day at Epcot yesterday and stopped at ticket sales to renew our annual passes. The CM was waiting for someone from Guest Relations to speak to the people that had been there just before us to explain why their tickets weren't good at Epcot.

It seems they had purchased some sort of Orlando area group tickets that were good at Wet and Wild, Universal, and few other places, but not at any of the WDW parks. They were indignant that they could not get into Epcot with them and insisted they were valid for the park. They wanted to complain about the CM in the ticket booth for "lying" to them when he said they were not valid. Of course, he was right.

Apparently, these people had been misinformed and they somehow thought it was Disney's fault. I was reminded about the time when a guy who worked for me took his family to WDW years back. I had suggested he book directly through WDW Central Reservations, but he went with a travel agent who was not very well versed in WDW vacations. Thinking he had purchased a plan that included park admissions they arrived about mid-afternoon expecting to get into the Magic Kingdom with their room cards. After spending a few hundred dollars for a few hours in the park he decided to listen to me the next time.

I love people like that. They are 100 % sure they are right no matter how many people tell them they are wrong.

It's sad because people just don't know.

They can only go by what they are told when buying that deal of all deals.

Now they are put in the position of what they thought they paid for is not really what it was.

I love the one that the lady was ranting that she did not have an ocean view room at wdw :lmao: DUH....

I've bought the orlando area passes. I bought it from Universal and was good for the two universal parks, wet n wild and sea world but NO disney parks of coarse  the details ARE on the tickets... of the ones I bought anyway...

I'm guessing they had the Flex Ticket - which is a great ticket. There are two versions (at least there used to be). One has US/IOA, Wet 'N' Wild, and Sea World while the other one has all of those plus Busch Gardens.

Definitely NOT good for WDW! :sad2:

Can I use my Six Flags tickets at WDW?

:teeth:
