Ticket and child to adult age question

I just booked our room only for March of next year. My kids will be 8 and 9. I plan to buy tickets closer to when we leave in case we have to postpone the trip. If we do postpone, we would not be able to go again before summer and my oldest will then be 10.

The question I have is if I buy my daughter's ticket with the intention that she will be 9 when we plan to go, if the trip does get bumped how hard will it be to change that to an adult ticket for her as she would be 10 when we would have another chance? Can we just pay the difference or are we just stuck with a child ticket and have to purchase another adult ticket? I want to buy them with enough time for us to be able to book FP.
