Ticket and annual pass

I just want to double check that I am correct on this. I have a package booked for the end of march but I also have an annual pass voucher that I will not activate until my next trip.
I want to make sure that using my package tickets this time will in no way activate my annual pass. I have to physically turn in my voucher before it is activated, is this correct?

You'll be fine. An inactivated AP can't be activated by ticket usage to enter a park. It can only be activated by you at a Ticket Window or Guest Relations.
