Ticket advice needed!!!

Hi disexperts--

Here's the situation--my parents (fl. residents) will be joining us at wdw this upcoming week and we are trying to decide what ticket media would best serve our purposes as well as which is the most economical.

They will be staying at the WL for 4 nights on a fl. res. room only ressie. They are leaving in the morning of their departure day so we were thinking that would waste a day of a length of stay tix. I know we could have booked two separate ressies--one for 3 nights and one for one night and only bought tix on the front ressie but, since we arrive this friday I hesitate to make any modifications. So, do you all think they should buy a 4 day park hopper and separate water park tix? Or have any of you had any success with the WL CM's lopping off the last day of a stay for them to get a length of stay??

My immediate family has a disney summer visa offer package for 3 nights and one room only. So, we will have water parks admission if we should want to check one of them out.

If they get a 4 day hopper is there a local DS store nearby in case the CM won't lop off the last day???

Any purchase of a length of stay ticket (UPH) at check-in can be set to exclude the first day or the last day or both. It is only those ordered m in advance which require all days.

Thanks Cheshire Figment! I was confused by the mousesavers site--I read it as that the CM's don't always do this at the resorts that it depends on if they will or not.
