I was not sure where to post this exactly but here it goes..... My husband and I will be at Disney World for our anniversary trip 2/13-2/16 with a late arrival day and a late departure day. This is our third trip but 1st without the kids. We had planned on staying to Saturday but shortened the trip. Anyways, we currently have 3 day park hoppers but only plan on park hopping on 1 day so I could see happily ever after on a EMH night at MK. Our current itinerary is 2/13 arrival at 9 pm 2/14 Epcot/MK 2/15 Animal Kingdom and 2/16 MK in the morning for morning EMH back to hotel at 12-1230 our flight is at 7. BUT with all the good reviews I have seen for Disney After Hours I'm thinking about changing our 3 day park hoppers into 2 day no park hopper tickets and going to the after hours event on 2/15. Will we need a park ticket in addition to the hard ticket?? The new itinerary would leave Friday open to do something else instead of going to the parks which my husband doesn't really care to do anyways. Any advice is greatly appreciated, T.I.A!! :)

It is my understanding that, with the after hours event, you will be able to enter MK at 7 pm with the After Hours ticket. If you want to enter earlier than that, you would need a regular park ticket in addition to the event ticket.

I'd get a 3-day non-hopper.
2/14 AK
2/15 Epcot & MK DAH
2/16 MK morning EMH + lunch in the park

I had a similar situation. We are going in February and it is my niece's first trip. Instead of a 3-day park ticket we ended up doing the 2-day park ticket with DAH tickets. I just think for her to be in the park during DAH will be so much more memorable than a full day at MK with crowds. We still have one more day at MK and a day at AK (no park hoppers and a day for pool time). I would do the 2-day ticket and go to DAH. I've read only positive things about the event.

On the Disney After Hours thread, some people reported that they were able to get in at 4:00 last year with their DAH ticket.
