My sister is awesome- let me just throw that out there. She's booked a great vacation for us at CGH (is that the right abbreviation?) and I am thrilled out of my mind! She did 3 day park hopper tickets.

We arrive around 11:30 on a Monday and I am one of those "never too much time in the parks" kind of people. She was thinking hotel, pool, DTD on Monday hit the parks on Tuesday to start our 3 days.

If I wanted to add a day to my 3 day PH pass at the gate, can I do that for the $20 price I see online? Or would they make me pay one day full price admission?

Thanks in advance if you know!

There has been some discussion about this especially after the ticket prices changed. First hand experience from someone at the park a couple of weeks ago, was that you can indeed add a day for only $5. at the ticket booth. Another poster had the experience of going to the ticket booth to do this and the cast member said it could not be done, so they asked to speak to the lead (supervisor) and they confirmed it can be done, and did it. So unless they have put the price up to $20. and of course they can change things from one day to the next..... you can add on a day or more up to a maximum of 8 (also confirmed by another poster) for $5. per day at the ticket booth. If anyone knows anything new, hopefully they will update this :)

The way I understand it is the $5 to add a day would be to add a sixth or seventh day. To upgrade from a 3 day pass to a 4 day pass, you would just pay the difference.

see, as I have said before, even after being here for years I still learn new things all the time! :goodvibes I had no idea it was only for the sixth or seventh, or eighth day. I say eighth because someone posted just a few days ago that they wanted to add one more day to make it nine and this was a definate no go.

As long as it can be done if we decide to go, I am fine with $20 a person. i just didn't want to hear we would have to pay a full one day price! Thanks for the help!!!

You don't have to pay for the cost of a stand-alone day as long as you add the day BEFORE you use all 3 days.

Just be aware that if your sis bought the tickets at a discounted price, I think you will pay the difference between the price you paid and the gate price for a 4 day hopper. The tickets don't appear to be discounted online the way they were before, but I don't know if they are different from the gate prices.
