Ticked off!

I'm ticked off because one of my rabbits sits on his litter box but manages to pee just outside of it. I'm constantly wiping up pee that should be in the box. But, he's so amazingly cute and sweet that it's hard to be ticked at him for very long!

I am ticked off because the Navy transferred two of our adopted family, I lost a relative, a week later DH lost a relative, and one of our dogs died. All within a month of each other and during furlough. I am SO ready for this year to end it isn't even funny.

I'm ticked off because deer are so darn cute, not! They destroy my lawn and leave piles of poop for me. They also "hug" (hump) each other in front of my young daughters.

I'm ticked off because I went to pick up a new prescription and it cost close to $150.... I cannot afford that at all....

I am ticked off that the person driving the truck that hit our puppy yesterday did not stop. I am however overjoyed that it happened while we were at the vet and they were able to bring her back to life and she is doing well. I am extremely grateful for that.

So in todays "Ticked Off" column someone sent in the following;

"I get ticked off every time my neighbor does laundry. The fumes from the detergent is so overpowering I have to go inside my house and close all the windows and doors. Why don't people realize this is an industrial chemical and toxic?"

Is this person for real? :confused3

I'm ticked off because my dog has started peeing in the house, no matter how often we take her outside...

Doggie dementia setting in? Getting old is tough!

I'm ticked off because I have to give grade-level standardized tests (NECAPs) to kids who qualify through special ed to be pulled out of the classroom for individualized instruction in math and/or English language arts. By definition, these kids AREN'T at grade level, so why do we HAVE to test them this way??

(Oh please make it stop!! We have been testing, one test a day, for seven days, with one more to go. This on top of three weeks of NWEA testing (twice a week for each class), math assessment testing, reading level testing, and writing prompts. When, oh when, can we start teaching???)

It ticks me off when an American show, talking about one of our cities, will say for instance Toronto, Canada. You would never hear someone say they are going to Las Vegas, United States.

It's small, I know, but it ticks me off.

It must be because we live so close to the border, but I never hear that.

We hear Edmonton, Alberta, or Calgary, Alberta, or Victoria, B.C. but never "Edmonton, Canada'... that would be weird. :confused3 We hear Toronto, Ontario. Like I said, I am only about an hour from the border so that may have something to do with it. :thumbsup2

I'm ticked off because I forgot... What I'm ticked off about.

I'm ticked off because my cat pawed at the blinds this morning. He thinks I will wake up and feed him.
:cat:

I am ticked off about this too! Only, not only did he paw at the blinds, but he also pulled on the curtains... and apparently one of the screws on the rod was not in correctly and he pulled down the whole thing into his head.

I understand your frustration, but honestly most Americans are too dumb to know it's Canada :)
