Hey guys!

I bought my DD the Swarovski Heart to Heart Tiara for her to wear for her
16th birthday.

The problem is the sides are not fixed..they are flexible, and it has little loops to attach to the hair with bobby pins rather then combs on each side.

I am having the worst time trying to get this thing in her hair.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks so much!

COuld you put those slim metal clips that salons use to hold rollers through the loops and then hide them with her hair? Sounds tricky!

This might not help but this is how mine stayed in. Lisa who did my hair put the tiara where she wanted it and threaded a bobby pin throw the loop in one direction, then another bobby clip in another direction, through the loop, in a cross pattern and it was very secure. My dm did the same for our at home reception and it worked great.

Maybe a bit of practise and it should hopefully work for you too.

you can buy two clear combs and wire them to the sides. Use the loops to anchor the combs so that they don't slide on the sides.

Thanks everybody!:goodvibes

Guess I'm gonna go get some combs and lots of bobby pins and just play around.

Hopefully we'll be able to manage something. If not, since we're staying at GF, there's always Ivy Trellis!
