Love the movie and agree, retelling the story would have been much better.....I mean its been talked to death but not having...."are you Ready" playing as you go up the lift hill should be a crime....it was like made for this ride

Yeah, I'm not getting any sense of drama before the big drop in the revised ride. With the Splash Mountain storyline, you knew you were headed for trouble!

Won't watch the video and not even reading people's opinions of the video either! I want to decide for myself AND decide by seeing it in person and not via video. I'm not one for watching ride-throughs anyway, but I 100% gave it up before ROTR opened. I'm so glad I experienced that one with ZERO knowledge of what was coming next. And yes, even though MMRR had existed at WDW prior to DLR, I decided to go into that one fresh as well.

I'm now at the point where I don't even want to watch anything more than a few seconds of video from non-US parks either! It may be quite some time before I finally get to DLP or Tokyo, but I want to experience it in the moment.

I have a very eclectic collection of music on my iPhone and the other day as I was leaving the house that song came through the stereo in my car. Made me very nostalgic.
