Thyphoon Lagoon & Blizzrd Beach????

We are going to WDW for 6Days end of Oct. I have been to Typhoon lagoon once years ago with my sisters kids, (so all I did was make sure they didn't crack their skulls open or get kidnapped ) but this time it will just be my DH and I. We may not have time to go to 2 water parks this trip(we have ten day premium non-expiring passes, but would like to save the plusses for future trips. Which water park is THE BEST IYHO? And, how long should we devote to a water park? We are 2 mature adults who promise we won't cry when it's time to leave

I don't know exactly when you are going, but BB closes for annual refurb on October 29.

I used to like Blizzard Beach more because it has better and longer slides, however Typhoon now has the water coaster and has a better wave pool.
