THV Questions

Sorry for the late post, but we are planning on THV for next summer for taking DH's family and my 11 month window is tomorrow. Which section is closest to the grandstand/carriage house (shortest walk without having to use the inner-resort bus) and also has a view of the golf course?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Because there will be 5 adults and 2 kids, we decided on THV instead of a 2BR.

We just returned today from a 3 night stay at THV, we LOVED it. I can't say enough great things about them. We were in 7060 which was close to the walkway to SSR, but not a golf course view. For that I would request 7033, 7035, 7036. You'd have a golf course view and be very close to the walkway. The walk will take a good 5-10 minutes depending at what pace you walk. Personally, I was lazy and drove 2 of the 3 mornings we were there.

The numbers a little bit hectic in the THV, mainly because they alternate inner and outer parts of the resort, so the inner ones have less of a view. I stayed in 7033, right on the path, we had a view of one of the tee boxes and the canal going by.

For the record, you aren't going to have a good view of the courses, you just might have a partial view, the villa's are surrounded by trees, so even the outer villas will have a lot of brush and trees blocking your view. You could try requesting a specific villa as mentioned by the previous poster, or just request near the south bus stop.

The walkway, pool and boat dock are all close to the south bus stop, so you might have a better chance then trying to get a specific villa.
