We are going to be at WDW in June. Does anyone know if they have a THV unit to tour? We're thinking about going in a couple of years, but I'd love to be able to see them firsthand before I decide. Thanks!
We toured the model suites last week. The THV is a small scale model under glass you can look at, but nothing to walk through. We toured the BLT and AKV, they are very nice.
Since the THV will be open in June, do you think they'd let people see one, assuming there's one vacant to see? I don't know if they do this, I seem to remember reading of people doing it at other DVC's though.

It's possible, but the remote nature of the rooms may work against it happening.
A Disney Cast Member usually accompanies the folks on one of these brief tours. They don't just hand out a key to unregistered guests and say "take your time!"
It's not a big time commitment for a CM if you're walking a few doors down the hall at BWV or across the road to a nearby vacant room at SSR or OKW. But with the treehouses all being fairly remote, I'm not sure that they would be so quick to escort someone over for a look.
But don't they have a GV open during certain hours that can be toured? They used to at SSR. I believe it was in the Springs section. Do they still? There was a guide "stationed" in it.
