Took my son to the doctor today and he has a full blown ear infection.
Would someone please explain to me why men who make business decisions, meetings, and phone calls all day long have a deep and abiding fear of calling the doctor?
My husband didn't call while I was gone because he didn't think ear pain was a sign of anything and besides "he took a nap and looked better" yesterday.

Oh well, a little amoxicillin fixes everything.

Now if we could just have the big snow pass us by so both my kids can go to school tomorrow, I might actually accomplish something!! lol

I'm up v. late I know, I tried to sleep but couldn't ... may well do soon, math can do that to a girl LOL!!

Anyways, I've just PMed our dear riddlemistress and we'll see what comes of it but I don't hold out too much hope.

**hugs** to Steph and Marsha, hope you feel muchly better soon (I'm just about over a short bout of cold I had this week so no how you feel but was lucky it was short!)

also hope that Donna's DS feels better soon too... ah the joys of winter, why do we all have to get ill so much at this time of year?!

I wish I could explain, but I cannot! DH did not believe me when I told him that Maiya was going to be admitted to the hospital. A couple of hours later, I called him at work to meet us at the hospital to pick up Maiya's big sister, he finally believed me. As a reward (punishment) for not believing me, he got to spend one night (she was there 2 nights, and I got the first shift) in those chairs-that-convert-into-beds in the same room as Maiya. I don't think he will ignore me again on that one!

I hope yoyr DS is feeling better. Maiya had pneumonia and the ped said it was going around this year!

Good Morning!
There is some snow expected in the Detroit area too. Only about an inch in Detroit & only about 1/2 inch in my town which is about 40 miles Northwest of Detroit. Further south toward the Ohio border they're expecting closer to 3".

We have vendors that come into work.....they sell stuff in the cafeteria....and last week there was a woman who had jewelry very similar to yours. Not as nice of course It seemed to be pretty popular.
