Wife and I are going to DL first week in November. RIght now I have us staying at Best Western across the street from gate. We will be coming from San Diego, visiting the zoo, on Thursday 11/2 and then doing DL on Friday 11/3. Question: Would it be better to switch this, doing DL on Thursday 11/2 and then going to the zoo on 11/3? Thinking of crowds; we only have 1 day so want to maximize our time. On Sat. 11/4 we drive to Vegas. Suggestions/Opionions PLEASE

My suggestion is to skip the zoo.

If you go to the zoo first and then Disneyland, you'll kick yourself for not spending the previous day at Disneyland

If you go to Disneyland first and then the zoo, you'll kick yourself for leaving Disneyland

If you do both days in Disneyland, the zoo will never cross your mind

Although Friday will probably be a little busier, I would still pick that day over Thursday because you'll have more hours at the park, and the opportunity to see the fireworks, or go on attractions while the fireworks are going off, if you don't want to see them.

I agree with this completely!

Amen! This is what my Mom used to say about Knot's Berry Farm too!

Agree to skip the zoo. Where are you coming from? Because if you have been to the Omaha zoo or any other amazing zoo, you are going to be kicking yourself for the choice. There are lots of great things about san Diego and many reasons to take a day or two ( or a week!) there but the zoo is not one of them. Especially if you are going to see the animals.
