Thunder

As I am sitting here in my house, wondering why the neighbors are taking out the trash cans so much, I realize its thunder. To think that now we have thunder after 100 degrees yesturday . And its Friday the 13th, Spooky! I like thunder storms, but sometimes they scare me.

2 days ago we had a really bad thunderstorm and a lot of the flood areas in my town went under pretty bad
heat storms that are just thunder and lightening without rain dont bother me too much but at night they freak me out

Thunder only scares me when I'm not expecting it, and it's loud enough to make things shake.

I don't mind the thunder, it's the lightning that I hate. Only at night though, then it's really bright and lights up the whole house..blehhhh. Gives me the creeps.

i absolutely love storms, rain, lightning, thunder, hail, stuff like that. the only thing that scares me is tornadoes, although i've thankfully never experienced one. hurricanes more than likely would too, but i wouldn't know because minnesota doesn't get them.

once, a few months back, we had a huge lightning bolt strike a house 5-6 houses up the street, but we didn't know it. It shook the ground and i was getting ready for school and i didn't know what it was and my mom said it hit close, she could tell, and then a few minutes later we heard sirons and we saw 3 huge fire trucks, a cop car thing only for fire's and an ambulance go up our street. it was so scary.

we were in the hospital wednesday night and in philly,it started raining hard and thundering and lightening.
first thing i said to the nurse when she came to check on me,
"they've got generators here,right?"

2 days ago in the evening and throughout the night it was lightning really bad!!!!! I was scared for a while but then it lightned up. It was pitch black! Scary!
