Thunder Mountain during Wishes

We happened to be riding Thunder Mountain during Wishes and it was so magical. It was something that I will try to do again. The kids were so excited to view the fireworks from the ride.

we were on Splash during Wishes on out May trip and it was incredible...such a great point of view from up there!

my son & friends were on BTMRR during wishes in January - they said it was one of the coolest things they've ever done!

My DD did this over 4th of July weekend - we were there two evening during the fireworks... she rode multiple times and I took photos.... she thought it was a blast riding and seeing the fireworks at the same time! This week was riding multiple times in the RAIN on Wednesday!

I love to ride the Magic Carpets in Adventureland during Spectro and Wishes. Truly awesome! And I agree that Splash and BTMRR are the BEST after dark.

I might have to try that in Dec, never have ridden rides during the fireworks. Having seen it often, I need to make some changes, LOL.

That sounds fun. This is kind of related. We were at Universal riding the Jurrasic Park water ride. They do a small fireworks show at Islands of Adventure. We had just come out of the big drop and saw fiireworks. It was very cool that they exploded as we came down.

It's especially great on BTMRR because you keep coming in an out of the tunnels, and every time you come out of one there are explosions of light in the sky. We try always to be on the ride at some point during the show.

That sounds cool! I have been on Splash during the fireworks, accidently. It was pretty neat coming out of the mountain for the big drop just as the grand finale was booming off.

We've done that before, too! It is truly magical (and probably the ONLY time Dumbo doesn't have a huge line).

On our trip last year the most magical thing was riding BTMRR during the fireworks. So cool to come around the corner and watch the fireworks from so high up. Then it just happened to be that during Wishes in Feb this year we rode the Dumbo ride! Even better!! It was like we were in the middle!! Very magical!! THe only bad part was when the fireworks began we were in line and couldn't see around the roof very well so we probably missed half the fireworks.

We rode BTMRR when we were at MVMCP back in 2003 while the fireworks were going off. OMG, it was just spectacular having the fireworks bursting right over you. It made the ride seem about a million times cooler than it already is. I loved every minute of it. Maggie
