He sometimes could be found in AK - Camp Minnie-Mickey. Now that there is no longer Camp Minnie-Mickey and the characters are located throughout AK, it may be even more difficult to determine if he is meeting guests.

Thumper's a tough little guy to track down. He's recently been seen participating in the new Dinoland Dance Party at AK but he isn't a guaranteed daily character.

Thumper and Ms. Bunny used to appear regularly at Camp Minnie Mickey. Funny story, we took our 1 1/2 year old to WDW a few years at the end of the April/May. It was spring not long after Easter. Our DD HATED the Easter Bunny at the mall (was terrified). My MIL loves bunnies and wanted a picture so we tried to make her sit on his lap. She was clinging to me for life and just refused to do it.

She saw Thumper and Ms. Bunny after the Lion King show doing a meet and greet and begged to meet them. That set was almost over so we couldn't meet them then. Our DD kept talking about meeting those bunnies for a few hours so later that day we brought her back to meet them. She ran right up to them. At that point, she hadn't seen Bambi and had no idea who they were except bunnies.

Thumper and Miss Bunny have been retired from meet and greets. We learned about this when we went in December 2012. It was a tradition for us to have our picture take with them. It was sad to learn they were no longer available for meet and greets. Think you can tell by my user name that he is my favorite character.

Maybe not Thumper, but depending on where you are staying there are lots of bunnies around. During my last stay at All-Star Movies they were out every night, just laying in the grass. I also saw a huge jackrabbit at Downtown Disney near the movie theater, looking for food no doubt. They are wild bunnies, so you couldn't approach them, but they were cool to see just hanging out.

When Kenny uses the phrase "retired from schedule" he means they aren't scheduled. Thumper was not retired in the sense of being fully removed from the park, he (and Miss Bunny) went from being daily characters to Random characters. They are still currently at DAK making random appearances.

Berlioz is correct. He was removed from regular meet and greets, but still made random appearances. Lately, your best move is Dinoland Dance Party, but there's no guarantees he'll be there any certain day.
