Sorry I'm a little tardy in posting this, but I wanted to pass along my thanks to MS for taking care of our unused points due to the weather conditions last weekend (1/23) in the northeast. We were supposed to check in on Sunday, 1/23. Due to the impending blizzard, we tried to fly out (BDL) on Saturday. Actually were on the plane, door closed and pushed back when the weather deteriorated and the type of plane (MD-88) we were on was not suited for poor visibility or slick runways. So the stress level increases; rebook and cancel, etc. All flights out of BDL cancelled Sunday. We get out mid-day on Monday, check in at 4:30 PM. I call MS from our room and they have already put the cancelled points into a holding account. They release them from holding and put them back into current use year!! Thanks Giselle in MS!! I hoped I spelled your name right!
