Thrown out of the park?

I don't mean to make anyone feel bad but I'm just curious since I've seen so many blatant violations of conduct in the parks (toooo many examples to list - line cutting, screaming matches, getting drunk or arriving drunk!, etc.) . Has anyone ever been thrown out or known/seen someone thrown out for misconduct? Or is it done with secrecy so as not to draw too much unwanted attention?

Also, there is a website called *************.com where some tourists on Splash Mountain *cough* flashed the camera. How did the webmaster get those pictures? He/she had to work there since I'm sure they deleted them before they showed up on the screens. Also, were the flashers thrown out of the park for their actions?

Does anyone know how many people are thrown out each month for breaking the rules? And what happens if the person removed shows up the next day? Are they let in or denied entry? Are more Americans than foreign tourists tossed out each month? Or (heh heh!) does one nation claim the "sad gits" of the month award for the most unruly guests? :teeth:

That is always a good question to ask when doing the keys to the kingdom tour. They do touch on those types of questions. There are cameras EVERYWHERE and there is a jail/or holding cell on mainstreet above the stores. There are law enforcement folks there and folks are quietly taken away all of the time, usually for shoplifting. THe removal of folks is usually done so well that most folks probably wouldn't notice what is happening as they are escorted to a backstage location. Big brother mouse is always watching and there are places on mainstreet that most of us hope we never have to tour!

People always think they're invincible in Disney. Incidents like that just show you're not :(

I wonder what Mickey jail is like? Not that I really want to personally find out for myself. :confused3 :lmao:

We've been in the Parks 20 to 30 days a year for the past ten years. With one exception, we've never seen any of the types of behavior the poster feels happens frequently. Which make one wonder! :smooth:

We did ask about "flashing" and rude jestures on rides where there is a photo taken. I don't know how the picture ends up on web sites but the CM said if its not the entire party on the ride (ie. two bad boys/girls in the back of the boat are doing something unmentionable ) then the picture is deleted and your party of "good" theme park guest are given a special FP to return to the front of the line and ride again for a chance to get a proper group photo.

There is a holding pen, but I don't think it's above Main Street. If memory serves, I believe it's out of the parks themselves, but still on Disney property. I may be wrong, but I want to say it's in a non-guest-area location.

I never saw anyone thrown out of the park, but I did see someone tossed from Mickey's house in the Toon Town area. This woman was posing for a picture with Mickey and she pulled on his ear. He kind of wagged his finger in her face the first time to warn her, but when she persisted, she was tossed.

We witnesses a really disturbing sight a few years back. DH and I were just getting to Mk, probably around 5 or so, and there we heard (before we saw them) 2 adult males swearing up a storm at each other (right by the stroller place on the left) and they started pushing each other and 3 CM's came to separate them...it was so sad because they each had families with then and the wives were yelling at them to stop. I have no idea what it was about but it was not a pretty sight to see right when you walk into the park...

personally i think if anybody flashes they should be banned from the parks after all it is a family park and i dont think this should be allowed

I agree.

I can't believe DIS let you post the flashing web site, lol. I REALLY can't believe that there are idiots out there who do it. I admitt, my DH and I took a look because it was unbelievable to us. Some were done with KIDS on the log! So that ruins the entire picture for everyone. :confused3

I've never seen anyone removed from the park. I did read here once of a couple who were caught for shoplifting in DTD and they said they were taken to a backstage room and held there for the PD. They said they were also banned from WDW forever.

I think Disney would handle this all very quietly. They don't want to ruin the magic for anyone any more then neccessary. I don't think you'd be kicked out for smoking in a non smoking area or line jumping. Maybe just warned?

I am SOOOOOOOO very glad that Disney does take care of those so foolish as to flash or get truly unruly. I'm no prude but sheesh this is a family place and as a SOLO traveler a place I come to feel safe on a vacation....shoplifters...I love my Disney Things but IF I can't afford something I love ,then I go without....nothing Disney has is worth going to jail for!!!!! :thumbsup2 :cheer2: :yay: :rolleyes1

Before WDW got wise to it, the pics of people flashing made it through- hence the flash mountain website. Now WDW knows about it and are able to stop the pic from being displayed or purchased.
