Tonights episode - is CHICKEN AND WAFFLES - he is challenging Melba from Melba's restaurant in Harlem. So far, to me, hers sound way better. He is creating a pink peppercorn butter for the waffles and using horseradish and dijon mustard. Where hers have maple syrup and a strawberry butter - mmmmm

I need to go back to New York and check out her place, I think they said she is the niece of Syliva, who runs a very famous soul food restaurant in Harlem.

I'd definitely go for Melba's version as well. Bobby's sounds icky to me!!!

Y'know, I think I'm going to start something different...how about steamers and waffles? Sort of a northeastern spin on soul food...
