Hello :D I am 10 and a NON-THRILL RIDE PERSON! The only roller coasters I like are Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain @ Disney. Do you know If I would like the coasters at SW?

Thanks in advance!

I know you could do Journey to Atlantis if you can do BTM and SM. The other, Kraken, may be a different story. It's a bigger sized looper, however it is very smooth and non-disorienting.

Welcome AmoDolphin,
I haven't gone to SW yet but I have read all about it since I'm going soon. Sounds like Journey to Atlantis is alot like Splash. Wild Artic is like Star Tours. Kraken sounds like it may be over the top for you. My 10 year old daughter will like it because I'm giving her a coaster Christmas with Montu, Kraken and Hulk back to back.

Thanks! :earsgirl:

I'll go on Atlantis and Arctic and my mom is TRYING to convince me to go on the other one.:D

My mom and I are going to spend a day at SW alone, then, My mom is taking my Brother to EPCOT for a day and My little, princessloving, sister to a princess dinner

My 10 year old daughter can't wait for Kraken. She and brother 15 don't realize that for a Christmas present I am going to ride it with them. I'm scared to death!
Tell your brother to watch out for Mission Space. It made the 3 of us sick all day.
Tell your sister to watch out for Prince Charming!

::yes:: my brother is looking forward to Mission:Space! ::yes::

This is AmoDolphin's mom!
Hi, "Amo!"

Amo's brother is seriously looking forward to Mission Space. He and I are going to ride it as many times as possible in one day. I SERIOUSLY hope it doesn't make me sick.

And Amo's sister really wants bfast at the castle, but of course we can't get ressies. We're doing dinner alone together at GF instead.

I have to admit, though, that I'm most looking forward to a day at Seaworld with Amo. We're flying down a couple of days early to spend some quality time together. Her sibs are coming down later with Grandma.

Mission Space is a human centifruge. If you can handle spinning to the point that it simulates G forces you should be alright. I get sick in the Tea Cups.
Can't the little Princess get a PS at the Epcot Norway Princess character lunch or breakfast? The castle is tough to get.
Good luck! Have fun.princess:

MotherFletcher, I'm not sure yet whether Princess will even be going to EPCOT. The whole family is only spending two days in the parks, and we may have to get one-day passes for MK and MGM. I haven't figured out a way to get two day hoppers yet. We'll be staying onsite for much longer, but three of those days I'll be in a conference and my mom and the kids will either be hanging out at the pool, resort hopping, shopping, or visiting my sister who lives near Orlando. In any case, we can't do LOS passes because we'll be there more days than we need park passes. The day DS and I are going to EPCOT is after the conference, and the rest of the park days are before. (The girls are going to spend the day with my sister that day.) BTW, the conference I'm going to isn't offering Disney tickets as part of their perks. :-(

I'm not so sure about the spinning! I'm usually OK if I'm not going around in circles, but circles do make me seriously sick. Maybe DS will be riding it over and over (as much as fast pass/lines will allow) and I'll be waiting for him!

Anyway, enough non-Seaworld conversation for the Seaworld board. I need to get over to the Theme Parks board. Normally by this time in trip planning I'd be spending hours on the DIS, but I truly don't have time! I just wanted to get "Amo" started on her own trip planning since we haven't been to Seaworld since she was 5!

hello Amo and Amo's mother. I am a 15yo male and a roller coaster freak (43 rollercoasters in a week in two differerent states and 4 different amusement parks)...lol:teeth: Kraken is an extremely smooth ride and although it is loopy like Kumba or Hulk..It is well worth it considering it is floorless with the track below you! very fun...mos def try to rid JTA and WA. At Epcot try to do Test Track also...fun ride especially the speed part but just learning about the way they test cars is cool too! I think you DS may like it...Good luck and most important ly HAVE FUN!:D

Mickeymouseteen,
I am assuming you have been on the coasters at IOA and Universal. what are they like? My kids 9&11 are thinking they'll get sick but everyone says they are quick and not to eat or drink anything right beforehand. Thanks

Kraken scared me do death! My DD10 did front seat JTA 12/20 when it was 34 degrees. Not a good idea. Take a dramamine, it helped me.

The most thrilling ride to some at Sea World is the free beer samples at the Hospitality Center. The good stuff is in the back! :)

essmom,
Yes I have rode Hulk and Deuling Dragons many times (over 50 each...going for 100).After the first ride, your kids will want to ride it again and agian! The Incredible Hulk Coaster is what they call a steel twister. It has the track below you and open air above you with an over the shoulder harness. The Hulk has an accelerated start at the beginning (0-40 in 2.00 seconds; my fav part of the ride),and seven inversions.

Deuling Dragons is unique because it is the first inverted near miss roller coaster with over the shoulder harnesses..Inverted means the track is above you and there is no floor below you, so your legs are dangling...awesome feature of the ride. There are two tracks: Fire and Ice, make sure to ride both. Each is a different track....and if they launch the tracks at the same time, you will experience the "near miss" part of the ride that is is notorious for. Make sure to not eat anything right before you ride.

My suggestion is as soon as you get to the park, is to head for the Hulk. That ride can have quite a wait and if you like it you can get and fastpass and ride it later. Both rides should be less than three minutes...more like two and a half....and its the fastest two and a half minutes of your life....OH make sure to ride spiderman after HUlk cause that can get a long wait also.

No matter what rides you ride the most important thing is TO HAVE FUN!!!!!!! if you do that, then it will be a great time! Good luck!!!!;) :teeth:
