Starring the can't get enough of Hulk family: DH, DS12, DS10 & me
Thursday: check into RPR. A pleasant change from our moderate at Disney. We slept much better here. Loved the tropical landscaping and Hawii feel of this resort. Off to IOA. Hulk first of course. The best coaster ride ever!Rode it twice. Dr. Dooms and me saying an OH **** when we fell. My DS12 is still giving me a hard time about that even though I explained that I thought I was falling to my death! Spiderman was truly amazing. My two DSs could have stayed in the Superhero area forever. Jurassic Park was too cool. The surprise ending was great. Jurassic Park being one of my kids and DH's favorite movies was a real treat. We ate in the discovery center, the best sandwiches we had all week. Dueling Dragons was incredible. I'm running out of adjectives. We had our picture made with the Grinch who was sooo funny. We watched the Who's show and and tree lighting later in the day with snow effects. NBA for a Thanksgiving dinner. If you love bball this is a must. Citywalk was a great area for nighttime strolling and shopping. DSs had fun in the arcade near the movie theater. Prepare for lots of locals here, it was crowded. DH can't bring his margarita on the water taxi - throws it away and then the captain tells us there is no room that we have to wait on the next boat. DH pouts about his wasted drink. (Still pouting)
Friday: US. The theming was so well done here. Favorites here were DH: Twister, DS12: Terminator, DS10: Jaws, Me: Shrek - I laughed through the whole thing. ET and Men in Black were also favorites of all. DH said he couldn't see well from the back left side of Back to the Future. DS10 not feeling well - temp was rising - Don't forget the tylenol. Had to order room service that night. DH and DS12 go to pool.
Sat: DS feeling better with some cold symtoms. Back to IOA. More crowded. Looks like more local groups. Lots of cheerleaders. Have to put bags in locker and didn't have to do this before. Hulk (3 times) Spiderman twice. The first time the ride broke down and we went through in the dark but you could still see. I kind of enjoyed looking at the behind the scenes. They put us right back through. Jurassic Park again and Dueling Dragons. Didn't ride the Flyers because there was not FOTL here. We have been totally spoiled and will never be able to wait in another line again. Dinner at Margaritaville. DH loves Jimmy, this was too fun. He buys a T, shot glass and a 'lost shaker of salt' salt shaker.
A great thrill ride experience. We had a great time. Thanks for all the tips. If it were not for this board I wouldn't have known about the FOTL!
