Thrifty?

Haven’t used them in over 20 years. What are people’s thoughts?

Thrifty is a few dollars cheaper than Hertz. 1st time renting with Hertz so don’t think I can skip the counter

how is thrifty and do they have a skip the counter program?

I've used them and Dollar a few times (same counter at MCO). No issues and I would use them again.

My last Hertz vehicle was kind of beat so I wouldn't pay extra for anything from them right now. I think due to the chip shortage and selling off vehicles in 2020 (due to bankruptcy), Hertz inventory isn't to their pre-pandemic standards.

They have a program, but as with all others you still have to go to the counter the first time to have them verify the information on your DL and CC. I would go with Hertz over Thrifty, but I know I can skip the counter with Hertz and the car is going to be right there in the garage.
