Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Stephen King - Holly Book series I’ve read them three times I will probably read them again I really enjoy the whole Holly books helps that I love Stephen King books

Harry Potter ❤️❤️❤️ I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read those

Kingdom keepers I have read those several times and those are really good I’ve enjoyed them tremendously - if you’re a Disney fan I highly recommend these books

Game of Thrones I got those for Christmas one year and enjoyed them tremendously I read them twice now and of course they are slightly different than the series but they’re still really good

The Walk series by Richard Paul Evans. (All his books are excellent in my opinion.)

Memory Man series by David Baldacci.

The Pelican Brief by John Grisham amount many others by him.

Every Breath by Nicholas Sparks amoung many of his others.

Harry Potter - excellent series that I shared with my kids.

The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton

So many more!!!!

Above all the Holy Bible

I love your answer of Good Night Moon. Summer, welcome to you, as well :) I'll Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and Santa's Favorite Story by Hisako Aoki are two favorite younger children's books of mine.

I enjoy the regular line of Love Inspired Series Christian romances. "Healing Autumn's Heart," by Renee Andrews is a touching story of how God uses a store window designer to help heal a young girl's heart and lead her and her family back to their faith.

A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks is a heart warming tradition as well.

Evening all,

I love so many books that this isn't easy!

1. The Dark Tower series by Stephen King - like WDWEPCOT I'm a huge King fan, he's my favourite author and I've read everything he's ever written. However The Dark Tower series is my absolutely favourite. I've never felt so invested in a series as an adult as I did this one, and when it ended I think I actually cried it was so good.

2. Harry Potter - another vote for this. I grew up reading these and have fond memories of the excitement of waiting for the next book to arrive and needing to read it straight away. While I'm not a huge fan of the films, I love how they brought the books to life and we now get to see all this at Universal.

3. The Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett - I will hold my hands up and say I haven't read all of these (yet) and there are some I think are a little inferior, but most of the books in this series are brilliant. So funny and I really love Pratchett's humour.

Good news... when we here are old and retired and sitting on the porch deck sunroom we all will be reading Nora Roberts.... Danielle Steele.... Robert Patterson..clive clusser....grisham these 4 authors have their own table in my massive 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📖 📖 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚 📚

We have 10 volumes of King...one is a 4 inch thick IT ... funny thing is that reader used 2019 movie ticket as a bookmark...so not sure which came first... only 3 copies of potter... And the only book that goes to treasure section.

Grisham and Baldacci popular... not sure about Evans... Sparks I recognize from notebook... only a few. Which means it is being passed on to others

We send Bibles to mission downtown where personal information is removed and if any publication is free over radio or tv evangelical teaching...we give that to another organization

Stephen Kings mind fascinates me I mean seriously the things he comes up with mind blowing !!! I could talk about him all day I enjoy his books tremendously

J. K. Rowling how she wrote those books I cannot comprehend they are absolutely amazing!!! I love them !!! I and fascinated at the fact that she got a whole generation of kids reading!!!
I love reading very grateful my parents were big into reading books and taught us to do that and I taught my kids to do that but I’m very sad that I don’t know any other adult adults in my circles around me they read books it’s very sad they don’t listen to books either they’re missing out

Very interesting 🤔 🤔.... when I am writing in the library I always see peers walking out with piles of books and to facilitate reading... our library doesn't charge late fee... our rummage product comes from the senior community as we provide services directly to seniors.... Goodwill doesn't and other thrift is more of a high retail shop and provides to non seniors or senior emergency like a fire.... Western genre is popular and most asked for when I am selling non fiction history

Richard Paul Evans is always on the best seller list. His books usually fall into romance or Christmas, but every book is a test of faith. I am always left feeling hopeful when I finish each novel. Research him and The Christmas Box House. He had an unbelievably hard childhood. I am hoping that his latest release is under the tree with my name on it this year. DH bought me all 5 in The Walk series last year so I can read them many times over.

Today's Topic (Sun, 11/30) - 3 things you're grateful for that come in jars

Good Morning Friends!

I haven’t been on here much the last couple days - I’ve been busy with things here. Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend is always so busy for me every year.

#1 - PEANUT BUTTER - I love it so much! It’s joy in a jar ❤️

#2 - PREGO - My favorite brand of pasta sauce. They have a no sugar added type that I buy all the time now, not that it matters, because this time of year I’m eating my weight in sugar all season - LOL!

#3 - MINCED GARLIC - This is the best and so convenient. I use it all the time.
