This. At this time of year summer and sunshine are things I miss dearly, and the weekends are the best time of the week as they mean no work!

I am grateful for my complete collection, in hardcover, of every Peanuts cartoon Charles Schulz ever published. CS’s nickname was Sparky, that’s an S word
Snoopy
Schroeder (we had piano in common)
Sally (loved her voice in the Christmas special)
And poor Shermy, who disappeared after a few years

I second WDWEPCOT on never wanting to hear the words sleet or snow!

That makes 3 of us!!

My lovely, wonderful DD, Sarah. She is the light of my life, my favorite travel buddy, and my nearest, dearest friend.

Soup. It's finally soup season!! We love soup here, and I usually make a pot or two a week during the fall and winter.

Squash. Butternut squash is one of my favorite vegetables but DD and DH are not huge fans, so we usually only have it once or twice a year. Happily, one of those times is this week!!
