Going to take a Halloween angle but going to theme my gratitude based on observations from my long walk this morning...
1. All of the people who leave their displays on 24/7 or at least turned them on early because today is actually Halloween. I'm mainly in the forest when I walk but each time I emerge, it's so much fun to see all of the fun and creativity going on in people's yards.
2. It's my last day to watch the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown for the season. I have all kinds of memories associated with this one. Of course, I can start watching the Thanksgiving special tomorrow where Snoopy battles the lawn chair. Still, the Great Pumpkin holds a really special place for me and I might just have to watch it several times.
3. Teens trick-or-treating! I know some people think teens are too old to partake in these festivities but I love it. It's a nice wholesome activity where they're literally doing the same as the younger kids vs. other counterparts their age who might be bored of that stuff and out getting into trouble instead. So, I welcome the teens that come to our house.
