Three Things...Gratitude Thread

2 Thessalonians

My plate is full 😔😔😔 watering a Yard for the daily 114 degrees, monitoring dogs in the morning 🌄 🌄 darkness , cleaning the Barry Goldwater bombing range dust from the bottom of the pool and another yard is in distress so have to travel to rotate a hose in their desert forest (they the highest vegation of any property thinking they could bring Oregon here)... 2 Thessalonians 3:8 but with toil and labor we worked night and day...13.do not grow weary in doing 👍 👍 👍 good 😊 😊 ....a garage sale this morning provided me a profit of $80.00 in metal garden art for my vendor market

Lighthouses - love them - !! Every time I take a cruise I always enjoy looking at all the lighthouses wherever I go and grabbing pictures of them I just think they’re just so cool to look at and so unique absolutely love lighthouses

Lanterns - slight obsession with these I have several in my house of various sizes from extremely tall to tiny

Flashlight 🔦 this is something I use every night when I take my dog outside I can light up the whole backyard with one I got to see those pesky deer and where they’re at or anything else that might be lurking out there but usually it is deer 🦌 and I’m grateful that it’s usually dear but upon occasion it’s a coyote

 Good Morning Friends!

#1 - BACK PORCH & GAZEBO - I very grateful for the lights my DH strung throughout both. It’s nice to have the lights when I take the dog out at night and early in the morning.

#2 - DECORATIVE TREE - I put a decorative tree in a dark corner of the family room and then I added fairy lights - it’s so pretty and it lights up that dark corner perfectly. In 3 months one of my Christmas trees will be there. Didn’t I just put that thing away?

#3 - KINDLE - I’m so grateful for the light on my Kindle. My first Kindle didn’t, and I had to hook a light onto it.

Christmas lights. I love the multicolored icicle lights. I leave them hanging on my front porch and use them all year. I think they are peaceful, welcoming, and beautiful.

My DD... because she lights up my life ❤️

Lighthouses in general, but Nubble Light in York Beach, Maine. Spent every summer of my life in York until I was an adult and the real world, like work, intervened. DH and I rent a cottage there every summer... in fact, we leave for the beach a week from Saturday!

ETA after reading other answers... My Nook. It has a back light that makes it easy to read in bed at night, and very handy as a flashlight or to check the time in the middle of the night.
I also love the little twinkle lights that are hanging in our front living room. Unfortunately we don't spend a lot of time there. I'd hang them in the TV room but DH isn't a fan. Might happen anyhow... you never know!

Things that light up . . .

Headlights, so I can drive in the dark

My refrigerator and freezer, so I can see what’s in there

Nightlights, so I can navigate the stairs and around the house at night without having to turn on the overhead lights. I just replaced all the bathroom fixtures with LED lights, and it’s a true shock to the retinas if I have to to run them on in the middle of the night. A nightlight is perfect!

Ansel Adams range of light.... but here in Yuma foothills

A block away from our house
