Happy 4th of July!

Today's Topic (Thu, 7/4) - one thing you're grateful for in each color: red, white, and blue

Good 4th of July Morning

#1 - RED - It’s my favorite color, so I have many red items that I love, but today I’m going to say my red WDW Mickey Mouse jacket. This jacket is over 25 years old and probably would be $150 today and I guarantee I didn’t pay that much back then. It’s very thin & light weight, so perfect for a cooler day. I get so many comments about this jacket, and people asking if it’s still available. It really is a great jacket.

#2 - WHITE - The new New Balance shoes I bought last week. DD20 bought them for herself and I fell in love with them. So we went to Shoe Carnival and I bought a pair for me.

#3 - BLUE - A beautiful blue sky, especially on a day that we’ll be spending outside.

Happy and safe 4th of July prayers and a hug to all. Extra thank you and deepest appreciation to all service people and their families. God Bless each of you.

Red and white by my faith are reminders of God along with His amazing Love and Mercy for me.

Blue I do think of Dodger BlueDad especially enjoys watching the games. God willing he and I will go on our Dodger Stadium tour later this year or in 2025.

Red, white, and blue I give God extra thanks to remember my beloved late grandma and late elderly church friends Shirley and Sue. All three lovely ladies were very patriotic.

Red White & Blue
Our Flag / Our Military / and Bomb Pops
Often when I hear those colors together this is what pops into my head !

I’m grateful for the men & women who serve in our Military!! Bless them and their families!!!

My favorite popsicle growing up - a bomb pop - red / white / blue reminds me of fun Summer days playing outside !!!

Red - my favorite color - I’ve had a lot of red cars over the years grateful for all of them !!!

Red- It’s really more of a burgundy, but it’s the color of my current vehicle. I miss her! They’ve had her since June 4th. They thought she’d be ready last Monday, but they ordered the wrong windshield. She’s a road trip queen.

White- I’m sitting here, watching softball, and I’ve got white snow capped peaks in the background. The view really calms me.

Blue- As much as I love yellow and orange, I think blue is my favorite. I didn’t bring my big camera this trip but the bird I photographed yesterday with my new blue phone appears to be a mountain bluebird…one of my absolute favorites. Sad that I didn’t get a good sunlight pic because they’re such cute blue puffballs.

Red: poinsettias at Chistmas, all red Christmas decorations

White: snow, lilies

Blue: Cinderella blue, the blue on the castle, especially the dark blue which is the origin of my screen name!

DD24 had her first scheduled MRI after her brain tumor surgery and no evidence of regrowth. All looks good!!

Red - Firemen and the trucks they drive, saw a lot today
White - My Wedding dress and kids Christening outfits
Blue - My denim binder in High School, loved to doodle on that thing.

Whimsical things...

Emojis and being able to change fonts and colors when writing. It really makes messages more fun!



Fireflies dancing in the night fields, blinking and swirling in the darkness.

There's this house down near my sister's home that looks like it's been built for faries, or maybe 7 little men. You truly could put it in a fairy tale; it even has a round "hobbit" door! It's set in the woods and it's just what you imagine when you think of the dwarves' home in the woodland!

Happy Friday Friends

#1 - My PotC Pez Dispensers - Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones and Will Turner sit on my desk at work and always have Pez candy in them. They’re pretty darn fun.



#2 - My Platform 9 3/4 clock - This also sits on my desk at work.



#3 - My Mickey/Minnie Ears - I have a few displayed in my Mickey bathroom and other places in the house. I normally don’t like wearing my ears twice, but I may make an exception for my Animal Kingdom ears. I buy many on eBay where they are less expensive and not current. Buying older ones are fun so they are different from everyone else’s.

I second Minnie ears. Mine are displayed on an "ear wall" in my bedroom -

Fun/whimsical foods - I like when they do the "dessert imposters" on the kids baking shows.

Good Morning with a hug friends,

and friends along with the smiles they and their 100 Acre Wood Home bring to so many including us. and of course too.

Stickers and the kid cheer especially they bring. I enjoy using them for sure to share with kids but also to brighten up mail and spread I pray extra faith and a smile.

Favorite Board and Card Games are fun and bond in both old and new memories.

It was the General Election here - so fun all round!! Although, it's, also, Wimbledon fortnight, which I do love.

I like little touches of whimsy: -

Like my Peanuts pencil case, which I, sometimes, use for personal care/cosmetics in a bag/the car. It makes me smile.

And a milkshake pink hair dryer I once had.

And the occasional play of music from the Disney parks (Spectro, Splash, C of P etc..)
