Another smell...
We have a pizza shop here in town, called Pat's Pizza. They started in Orono and have maybe 4 or 5 other locations. One can be coming home from dinner somewhere, stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey, but when you drive through the town parking lot and smell Pat's Pizza, you'll start to drool. MAN does their pizza smell good!

Ironically, it's both Marathon Monday here in Massachusetts and McDonald's Day.

Hot Chocolate and Cold Drinking Water

Left and Right. How blessed I am to have healthy (healthier becoming feet wise) one of each for eyes, ears, feet and arms with 5 toes on each feet and 5 fingers on each hand. Left and Right Brain. Dad is left handed. I am right handed.

Stillness and the refreshing renewal of spirit being still with and in my Lord through my faith brings me. Doing so is invigorating. Wakefulness/Activity. Blessing of being able to do so many things and I pray make a kind difference in small witness too.

Debits & Credits - deal with all day every day - it’s my job

Hot & Cold - take today I’m wearing shorts with a sweatshirt !!! Often I have shorts on but a sweater on - bottom half summer top half fall

Sweet or Savory - like them both often want one then the other !!

Summer/Winter—I like having the seasons. The in between is my favorite—spring and fall especially fall, but I enjoy them all.
Stove/refrigerator—lucky we can cook and warm up our food and also be able to keep it fresh in the refrigerator.
Inside/outside—i love spending time outdoors, but also am grateful to come inside and warm-up/cool-down and maybe get cleaned up.

Healthy food and indulgent food

Loud and Soft - As I prepare to sing this week, I'm reminded of how much I love a big bold section of music just as much as I love the power of something soft and restrained.

Turf and Dirt - I was trying to think of something softball and this is the best I can come up with. I love the slip n' slide nature of turf, but also love the filthy slides in the dirt.

Night and Day - So many reasons, although the recent eclipse is still on my mind and how the blending of the two was one of the aspects that made it such a powerful event.

Salty and sweet - They are good separately, but they also compliment each other in many ways!

Relaxation and Adventure - I love both for vacation time!

Driving and Flying - I generally prefer flying to vacation destinations, but if we have time, I love driving to get to see all of the sights along the way!

Hot and cold ....there's something about being cosy under a warm blanket, but with cool fresh air on your face.

Sweet and salty ...like salted caramel. Yum.

Fast and slow ...Disney coasters and gentler Disney attractions (Peter Pan/IASW/Living with the Land/Haunted Mansion etc. etc..)

Another vote for summer and winter - I'm so ready for each season by the time it gets here!

Star Wars and Star Trek - sometimes the fans are very "one or the other" but I love both.

Small town and big city - I'm grateful to have grown up in a small town, and to live near a big city now.

Surf 'n Turf- so I don't have to decide between a "walker" or a "swimmer" for supper?

Calm and rough- thinking about @slo 's ocean poll for today. A calm ocean is relaxing and restorative, whereas a rough ocean is invigorating and strengthening.

Coffee- both hot and iced!

I think it’s I as I will give it a try…

Ice cream - love my coffee ice cream so grateful to get it but limit myself because I like it so much !!

Imagination - grateful I can think of all these wonderful things I would like to do and sometimes actually do them !!

Inventive - thanks to my injury I’m grateful that I’ve become inventive in ways to overcome the injury to accomplish things I need to get done !! I try and find a work around to get my project done !! May nit always be successful but I try !!!

As I gave away already, one of my answers is ice cream! I don't always keep it in the house, but I especially love going out for a cone in the summer.

I second @WDWEPCOT's imagination answer too! - Where would we be if people couldn't imagine something before they actually had it?

And I'm very grateful for my in-laws. They treat me just like one of their own kids, and since we live much closer to them than to my Dad, they've been the "on-call grandparents" a lot with DS.

My employer - We've rebranded several times over the years, but the current corporate name begins with an I. I have been here for nearly 27 years.

Interstates - I love a road trip and while it's usually the smaller roads that make up the final legs of our travel, it's often the interstates that get us a chunk of the way, with multiple lanes at higher speeds.

Illuminare - I am currently working on two movements from this piece by Elaine Hagenberg. DD17's school choir is performing their annual Masterworks concert this Thursday. Alumni, family and friends with choral backgrounds are invited to perform a couple of the movements with the students. It'll be my first time on stage since early 2006. I got a good laugh last week after my first rehearsal when DD informed me that she could hear me...very clearly. I'm hoping more girls will sing out so we can get a good blend, but either way, DD said I sounded really good.
