Stay safe, dear Eksmama!:grouphug:

That Dad and I have a safe and loving home to come home to with necessities period is such a blessing. These days, we only go out together which really is a blessing to me as well because it gives the two of us God's gift ot us of additional time and memories. Plus, I, of course pray to finally be of some outside shopping help to dad. God's Grace of bringing Dad and I safely back in health.

I am a homebody who sincerely doesn't mind being home. That said what a blessing it has been to feel comfortable getting out every now and then after 3 1/2 years thanks to God. With this, the peace and extra thankfulness of coming home in health.

Rest anew in God. Reconnect also with family and friends, including all of you to share about an outing, too.

Have a great and safe Saturday, Friends :)

Grateful to come home to:

1. DH and DS20 - we still usually eat dinner together. For a couple years he was away at college, but has come back home to finish, so definitely enjoying having him home again!

2. Our living room - it's pretty cozy and I like the way we were able to arrange the furniture so we can watch tv and also carry on conversations with each other. It took awhile to get everything arranged so we didn't have to put a kink in our necks to talk to each other lol!

3. Our kitchen - I'm honestly not a huge cook, but I do love our kitchen. It's a pretty good sized kitchen and DS often sits at the breakfast bar and chats while I make dinner!

(Fri, 6/16) - 3 beautiful or relaxing spaces you're grateful for
1. Mountains!
2. Places out away from light pollution where you can actually see the stars!
3. State parks

(Sat, 6/17) - 3 things you're grateful to come home to
1. My mom
2. My brother
3. My mom's home cooked dinners. Yes, I know I'm spoiled. :)

Happy Father's Day to all the dads here! Because that can be a very easy subject or a very hard one for a lot of people, we'll go with a couple different options today:

Today's Topics (Sun, 6/18) -

3 things you're grateful for about your dad

.
.....or

any 3 dads you're grateful for - TV dads, friend's dads, grandpas...

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s in your family

#1 - I’m grateful for my Dad - long story that I’m not getting into, but we hadn’t seen each other for 17 years and God changed that and gave us the opportunity to be together again. He’s a wonderful and loving man, and we are blessed that he is part of our family again.

#2 - I’m grateful for my FIL - he taught my DH so much as a child that now my DH can fix anything. I’m also grateful for all the things he helped DH with around our house over the last 28 years.

#3 - I’m grateful for my step-dad & grandpa (both RIP) - they were wonderful men that I loved very much and today is a wonderful day to remember them and be grateful for teaching me and loving me my entire life until they went to heaven.

#4 - Bonus - even though he’s not my dad - I’m grateful for my DH - he’s been a wonderful Dad to our girls. He’s the dad that makes things happen - he’s amazing!

I'm grateful to my dad for encouraging my independence, nurturing my geek side, and setting an example that everyone has something to teach you. (And I'm grateful that I was able to fly down and surprise him for his 80th birthday party last month! 🥳)

I'm grateful for my FIL because he treats me just like his own kids. He's generous and smart and fun to be around.

And I'm grateful that I got to know my Great-Grandfather. Both of my grandfathers had passed away, but he lived in the Veterans' home in our town when I was a kid, and I used to go every week with my grandmother to visit him.
