Three Things...Gratitude Thread

I was thinking about a RAV4 next too. My DD26 got her first new car last year and got a Toyota Corolla - the dealer said it would last her for 20 years if she took care of it. She told him she didn't know if she'd want to still be driving it when she was 45 :rotfl:
One of our kid cars is a 2010 Corolla. We bought it 3 years ago. Has about 126,000 miles and going strong.

Happy Saturday :cool1:

CARS…..

#1 - I’m grateful for the first car my parents bought me

#2 - I’m grateful for my Ford Probe - the first car I bought myself

#3 - I’m grateful for my current car, which is a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid - I’m currently getting 38-40 miles per gallon.

Weekends

1. Girl time since DH works. We hang out, watch movies, order Taco Bell lol

2. Usually chat behind the scenes with a small group of DISers. Finally got to meet some in real life! If any of you will be at WDW 11/24 - 12/6 maybe we can say hi!

3. Get a lot of chores done!

Sleeping In !!!! After staying up late !!!!!
Clean Sheets ! Always do my sheets on weekends
Projects - getting something done - whether it’s a fun or need to - sense of accomplishment
Bonus - most vacations start on weekends !!! I’ve often had a flight on Friday to go to WDW arriving around Midnight to get to House of Mouse at 2:00 AM and be up at crack of chicken to do rope drop !! No sleeping in at WDW!! 🤣🤣

Weekends:
1. Time to get caught up on things I didn’t get done during the week.
2. Many weekends we travel for volleyball (including this one) and other parents have become friends, almost like family. We have a great group and enjoy our time together.
3. A little extra sleep.

(Sat 5/20) - 3 things you're thankful for about weekends
1. While spcific to this weekend... I'm thankful for my birthday weekend! My birthday is today. I can't possibly be 40 today, can I? I mean, the pandemic year doesn't really count, does it? Okay. Fine. It does.
2. Sleeping in
3. Sunday lunch/dinner and church

I would love to meet all of you irl!
So would I! Once I've firmed up when I'm going to Silver Dollar City to see their version of the Osborne Lights, I can check back if anyone from this thread is able to join me. I'm thinking about maybe going after Thanksgiving, but not sure yet. I understand some people already have plans for that time frame...

:hug:Daisy Duck, that sounds like fun. I truly hope it will be and that you are able to meet up with friends in this thread. I'm not much of a traveler, homebody at heart, I admit. Plus some health limitations, thanks to God, I am in good health. Dad, by His Grace, is, too. Just mean airplane travel is no longer for me. CA here you and others maybe will one day come. I still would love to do Candlelight at DL with you and others. Here's definitely to meetups to come! :)
