1. Mom!! I love her so much.
2. Missouri. I've lived here my entire life and can't imagine calling anywhere else home.
3. Museums

(Fri, 9/1) - 3 things you're grateful for that are handwritten
1. You've heard me mention Awana, the school year program at my church quite a few times. The students have actual handbooks and have to handwrite their answers in. We started again this week, and I'm so happy to be back at it and with the kid I work with one-on-one. His answers often make me laugh. Tried to tell me that Goliath was a lion last night... Had to gently correct him on that one.
2. Greetings cards/letters. Even if it's just someone's signature in a card
3. My thankful journal, as well as my mom's. I know I will treasure my mom's thankful journals when she's gone.

Happy Saturday

I’m glad you didn’t ask about coconuts since I’m not a fan - LOL!

#1 - I’m grateful for softballs - there’s not enough time for me to write all the memories I have because of softballs. DD20 is currently playing for her college team, so we are all still making memories.

#2 - I’m grateful for basketballs - lots of great memories of me playing with my StepDad as a kid, and with my girls here at home. Both my girls played basketball in middle school - lots of great memories

#3 - I’m grateful for soccer balls ️️️ - DD25 played soccer and she was very good and super fast. In HS she was goalie and she was very fun to watch there - good times!

Glassware - can you drink out of most are round I know not all but most - still grateful to have something to drink out of
Plates - again most are round - but not all

Reasons I’m grateful for September
My favorite month of the year because it’s my birthday month!!
I would say it gets cooler but it doesn’t here - but officially fall starts so you get mums another favorite of mine !!
So you can deck your halls for fall and start putting up Halloween deco
Start getting holidays off at work and most coworkers are done taking vacations so not short staffed - i on the other hand am a fall early winter vacation person as Disney is much more fun in cooler weather and prettier with fall deco Food & Wine & all the other fall activities!
The leaves turn colors and they are beautiful!
I enjoy my hummingbirds as they will be leaving soon

#1 - I’m grateful for watching DD20’s fall softball games - they’re so much warmer than her Spring games, and we stay overnight these upcoming weekends so we can take DD out to dinner.

#2 - I’m grateful for my Halloween and Autumn decorations - I love looking at the house decorated.

#3 - I’m grateful for the trees changing color - makes for a beautiful 3 hour drive to DD’s college.

Fall colors although out here, seasons may not truly change as they do back East. Every day there is joy and I pray to give thanks! One of my favorite Hymns, I think of as Autumn based Give Thanks should any of you wish to look it up. Years ago I had fun decorating my car for Trunk or Treat at church to a "Fall in Love With Jesus," theme. I am not a traditional Halloween fan at all. I did enjoy doing that.

My beloved late grandma's birthday was on 11-1. Happy, Happy Birthday to WDWEPCOT, btw Dad's late friend George also was born in September as was another late elderly church friend of mine.
