Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Good Sunday Morning

#1 - I’m grateful for a good nights sleep - I had one last night with the windows open.

#2 - I’m grateful Sundays - it’s my weekly pizza and pajama night.

#3 - I’m grateful for sunrises - I’m a morning person and I love a beautiful sunrise. Especially when I‘m up and driving somewhere - it makes me feel like it’s going to be a good day.

Beyond all else forever I am grateful for my Savior Jesus! That I might in a tiny way get to witness and serve Him in humble thanksgiving is a blessing of no words! Just praise.

Sundays are a special day to me due to worship both in traditional music and message, extra time of prayer, too. Scripture fits in here and above, too, of course!

Grandpa Sam was my first witness to Christ.

Slo! :grouphug:

Sunrises and Sunsets, I totally agree are such graces of God.

Summertime! Warmer weather, longer days, more light and just new possibilities!

Seasons in general all have joys and blessings.

Sleep is such a grace. Dad and I are so extra blessed for which I thank God nightly, to have a safe loving home, shelter, clean bed with sheets and filled with love by Christ Who is LOVE.

Spring is my very first season for Easter. Time of extra renewal.

Lol haven't been in awhile. Couldn't tell what the topic is..
So just you guys. I went back to work, plus drama here and have been staying away. Miss you all.🥰
Hang in there. You know we'll be thinking of you, and where to find us when you are ready! :grouphug:

Three D things...
>DISNEY!! The parks, these boards, and my memories!!
>My Daughter- my only child, light of my life.
>Dumplings- asian, not chicken-n-dumplings. LOVE dumplings, steamed or fried!

Three S things...
>Soup. I LOVE a good soup, but don't make it very often during the hot summer months. Fall's a-coming, and there's soup on the menu!
>Sandwiches. Too many favorites to list, including sub sandwiches. Bariatric surgery means I can only eat about a half, but I truly enjoy a great sandwich.
>The Seashore
ETA: DD's name starts with an S! What kind of a mother AM I, hahaha!

As an overall tie-in, guess what Dinner/Supper is tonight? Stuffing Dumpling Soup!! 🍲🥘🥣

Thought of another "D" Scrapbooks! Dad and I have a couple scrapbooks we have compiled together of collective memories. God willing, we will continue to add to them. Joy and blessing indeed to do :)

Stamps I pray allow me to witness Christ in an extra way and spread joy and encouragement via the Pony Express, Stickers, of course, go hand in hand! All of you know I enjoy them!

Hugs extra L.K along with many prayers you rest well tonight! :grouphug: I also love your answer of support from family and friends. I pray to give God extra thanks for both always.

Another D I am grateful for is Jesus Calling, my Daily Devotional.

Sweet dreams with love to all.

Happy Monday everyone!

I’m not a very fancy person, so this one’s kinda tough…..

#1 - I’m grateful for my Disney Dooney & Bourke purses - I have several and I’d love more, but how many does one need?

#2 - I’m grateful for the nice steak restaurants in Chicago - I’m not sure if they are considered fancy, but their prices make me feel like they’re fancy - LOL!

#3 - I’m grateful for the cruises I’ve been on - again, I’m not sure if these are considered fancy, but they do have a formal night(s), so those times are fancy.

I’m with @slo on the not feeling like I am fancy, but I will also give it a go.
1. I have loved shopping for fancy dresses for my girls—homecoming, prom—my youngest still has two more homecomings and a prom to go and then maybe wedding dresses at some point.
2. Our family went to see Taylor Swift when she was in town in June. It was fancy done cheaply, but there were pretty dresses, glitter, glitter on pretty dresses, hair, make-up and over the top accessories.
3. I enjoy setting a fancy table occasionally with China, tablecloths, linen napkins and crystal glasses. I think it looks pretty and adds to the celebration.

I always find it interesting how similar we all are! I'm also not a fancy person - I always tell DH he's lucky because I'm very low maintenance lol. You guys have mentioned some good ones!

1. I love looking at fancy Christmas displays. They are so pretty!

2. I've ridden in a limo a few times and I've always felt fancy when I did. My first time was for prom, so we were pretty fancy at the time. My other time was we had a group going to Vegas and the cheapest transportation we found to our hotel was a limo for our group. We were not fancy then, but felt kind of fancy driving down the strip in a limo!

3. Oldest DD worked for a lady when she was in school who ran a foundation for children's cancer funding and each year they had 2 galas. DD went to those with her and she looked so beautiful. I loved looking at the pictures because the venues were just beautiful!

I’m not the least bit fancy I’m more down to earth casual but I work for a very rich person and he throws fancy parties that I have to attend so sometimes I have to dress up so then I’m like you would say fancy
I enjoy my Dooney / Coach / Harvey /Vera Bradley DISNEY purses 👛 👜

Disney Cruises 🚢 I enjoy going to Palo in Meridian you definitely have to get dressed up for that

Brunch California Grill - I have to put on my Disney dress get all dolled up and have a very nice brunch

So there’s only two times I will get dressed up and my boss makes me do it or when I’m at DISNEY we’re on a Disney Cruise I’ll do it for DISNEY willingly🤣🤣🤣
