My wife and I are taking our 18-year old son, per his request, for his senior trip to WDW. We would like to eat at three of the following restaurants. Which would you choose and why?

1. California Grill
2. Citrico's
3. Jiko
4. The Flying Fish
5. Artist Point
6. Narcoosee's

:D

I would choose:

1. California Grill - yummy food, great view, try to get a PS arrangement for an hour before the fireworks

2. Jiko - food with an African flair, unique dining experience, great wine list for the adults, gives you an opportunity to see the AKL and enjoy the animals

3. Flying Fish- delish seafood, you can stroll the boardwark after dinner (or maybe even catch a specialty cruise)

I would choose the these three, because they are different (food and ambiance). In addition, your son is definitely old enough to enjoy and appreciate these places.

Have a great time!

We eat at all of these restaurants during our annual visit to DW each February. You can't go wrong at any of them-they are all terrific. Having said that, if I had to pick only three, I would vote for:

1. California Grill-great food, great view, and arguably the best wine list on property, especially by the glass

2. Flying Fish-outstanding, fresh seafood

3. Citrico-Mediterranean food with some very unique flavor combinations

Enjoy!

1.Cal Grill: for the view and the foods pretty good too.
2.Artist Point: Has been our personal favorite for years.New chef still just as good. One of the sweetest CMs in the world (Pok from Korea. Ask for her she is a darling)Forgot to mention the food.Unique Pacific NW cuisine with slight touch of Pacific Rim.
3.Jikounique,unique,unique and check out the resort while you are there.
All your selections are wonderful.Hope you enjoy wherever you end up.

I would pick California Grill for the view and rave reviews of the food. Even the UG gives this place a sterling recommendation. Not to be a spoil sport, but the other places don't grab me, so I'm not going to pick 2 more. I'm not saying they aren't excellent choices, but I detest sea food (eliminating Flying Fish) and have no burning desire to try the others until I get a few others under my belt.

I agree that they are all excellent choices.
If forced to pick 3, it would be California Grill, Jiko, and Artist Point. For one thing this takes you to 3 different Disney resorts with altogether different themes.
All have great food. CG has an excellent view, Jikos is a rather different dining spot, and AP has good food too.
Note: If you do decide on Citrico's, it's closed Mon. and Tues.
