Oooh Cathy you're showing a side to yourself I never knew you had

::yes::

Cathy....I loved that Ariel outfit! You did such a great job!

I loved that last installment! Your DD's and you look so cute in your matching lime!

Ummm....what is all this about a 3 month wait?!

Hi Daisy:daisy: Thanks about the Ariel outfit! It was so much fun to make! And the lime green (Dis color!!!) shirts were a last minute thing....but we loved wearing them...it really does help to find your fellow companions when you all match! Do you sew?? Thanks!

3 months.....

I live the ariel outfit

and the matching outfits for you guys too

but 3 months!!! NOOO!!!!

Hi Tanya:cheer2: Thanks about the outfits! Do you sew?? Isn't three months a respectable amount of time to wait?? :scared: :hourglass

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!:scared1: You CAN'T WAIT 3 MONTHS!!! I'm going in SEP.
PLEASE DON't DO THIS TO ME!!!!
I've got a pen and brand new notebook all ready for more tips from your TR (which is very good by the way:thumbsup2 ) and if you wait that long it will be a waste of money and you know how us crafty folks are we don't like to waste money! So I'm calling and beseeching ( Is that a word?:confused3 :rotfl: ) on your kind, helpfull, caring side to take over now!!! REPEAT after me. I will treat others as I want to be treated and I do NOT want to be treated like this!!! :sad2: (Even if you are being treated this way right now. You know you don't like it!!! I've seen you on you-know-who's report and who knows when she will post HMMMMM  maybe we should all go post on her TR and beg her to post on a if she will then you will basis? HMMMM think it would work???)
By the way I love the shirts!:goodvibes

I would say this is a fair thing to do....:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: Good luck with that! :rolleyes1

I am loving you TR! Please don't make us wait 3 months.

Question for you. Cindy and Belle in you signature in their costumes, what size(s) did you buy? I just ordered both of those costumes for my dd3 in XSmall and I am wondering if I should have gotten small.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha....I believe this is called...

Paybacks are a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!

Oh you dual trip reporters, you know who you are!!!!:lmao:

*hmmmmmph* Well, I never...

I have no idea who you could be speaking of!!!

Hmmmmmm lets see Goofyluver and Twob4Him.....How about Goofy To Be Disney? Naaaaaaa, Ummmmmm... I don't know....what ideas do you have

I think your readers may need to throw out some names! ;)

Touche' ....

and I am goin to let her suffer for awhile...sorry folks...that you all gotta suffer the consequences of other mean TR writers! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know you're not talkin' 'bout anyone I know!!!

Not fair! There's always someone that ruins it for the rest of us!

I do so... not well... but I am learning... and no... 3 months just won't do :sad2:
Tanya we are all learning...the only official sewing class I took was in 7th grade! Well maybe it won't be three months...:lmao:

I am loving you TR! Please don't make us wait 3 months.

Hi Dreaming! Let see, my girls wear size 4T and the custumes were official Disney wear Size XS 2-4. Cindy's required one safety pin cause she is so petite. So I am sure it will fit...and it may require a pin or two.

*hmmmmmph* Well, I never...

I have no idea who you could be speaking of!!!

:confused3 Gee I wonder who would do such a thing?? :lmao:

I think your readers may need to throw out some names! ;)

Oh very good idea...do you want it on your trippie?

I know you're not talkin' 'bout anyone I know!!!

:rotfl2: Glad you can take a joke Jenn....LY/MI

For all my awesome readers...sorry about the three month thing...:rolleyes1 I would never make you all wait that long....after all I am not DisUnc who is getting ready to lap himself (go on another Disney trip before he has finished his last TR) and I would never let you hang for too long. The next installment will be up tonight. :goodvibes

So what do you think I saw BTW???? :confused3

Backtrack to MK day

Hello all.....I had to wait until Cinderella16 posted her "big day" on her trippie. I dont know if you have been reading it but its really great. Anyways, if you recall we met up at the Tiki Room quite unexpectantly. I left out a pic or two that I wanted to post finally. Apparently during her pre-trip report and she mentioned wanting to be a Disney bride. I must have pm'd her DBF saying that he should propose in front of the castle. Well he already had that plan in mind and couldnt answer me back in case I accidently leaked the secret! When we met at the Tiki Room, Cindy said "He proposed!" I was so excited for both of them!!!

Great job Cathy at the 3-month delay! :rotfl2: I was totally into it.

And what a great next installment. I had just got done reading Julianne's engagement update so coming to your's next just made it even better!

Awwwww! How neat!

Phew thank goodness for that I knew you weren't capable of being so horrid :rotfl2:

OOOOH! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
:thanks:
I thought you were referring to someone elses TR. If I'd known you were talking about Disuncs I would have passed out!!!

I know you asked Cathy and I am sure she will respond but I wanted to give you my 2 cents. We stayed at POR the week after Cathy and stayed in bldg 18 of the AB section. We are a family of 5 and this bldg was awesome. Right next to a quiet pool/laundry, close to food court, Ol' Man Island, and the South Depot bus stop. It was wonderful!

Thanks for the input! It's really helpful. :)

Hi Homeschool Mama! Thanks so much for asking a POR question...my very first one!!! :cool1: Here is my opinion...I reqested Alligator Bayou (thats the section with the trundle beds!) Buildings 14, 15, or 27 and so the rest of POR wasnt even on my radar screen since I was sure I would get one of those buildings. Well, we checked in at 10 am and my only one real request at that point was an IMMEDIATE room since my daughter was sick. AB was not going to be ready till later in the day. We ended up on the second floor (there were elevators) of Oak Manor in a corner room. We had an absolute loverly view...it was quiet and peaceful and only a 3 min walk to the pool or the main building. It was about a 5 min walk to the bus stop or Boatwrights. We requested a pack and play for the baby since the Mansions dont have trundle beds and we were perfectly content. With that all being said, if you need a trundle bed than you will definately need AB and buildings 14, 18 or 27 are the closest....building 18 used to be smoking optional which is why I didnt request it originally but apparently its now very clean and non-smoky (all rooms are as of June 1st). Those would be your best bets! :thumbsup2 Hope that helps!!! ;)

It does help. We need the trundle b/c my youngest will be five when we visit. Both you and DM said bldg 18, so I'll try and request that. Thanks! :)

My daughters costumes arrived today and the Belle costume fits her perfectly and the Cindy costume falls right off of her. My dh said why did you buy the Cindy costume in a bigger size? I said I didn't, it must be the way they make it. Guess I will have to take it in before our trip. Thanks!

You believed me too??? Naaa I would never drop a trippie midway :rotfl2: I was waiting for Julianne to post her installment and when I read it I cried! It was so wonderful how he proposed!

Yaa Jo I am way too nice for that... :rotfl2:

Well I was talking about the "other" person but DisUnc is pretty bad too! :rolleyes1

Yes also make sure you stress that you need the trundle bed! (therefore AB section)

I just put safety pins and gathered it behind the sleeves and it worked. Do you sew too? I would love to see their pics in the dresses when you get them. Glad it worked out and you got them...you saved at least $50 ordering online! :thumbsup2

popcorn:: MORE MORE MORE!

That's the site sponsorship thing -- in fact, that's the old graphic as I think there are updated ones now.

I'll check back later! Thanks for working on it! :cool1:

No! I didn't believe you. Remember? I knew who you were aiming it at. I meant that I was totally into the whole joke! I just didn't know that you really had to wait for Julianne! Good job.

Oh Cathy!!!!! I amjust getting caught up and um, we need to talk about this cliffhanger thingy. Bad enough that we have those other 2 and their cliffhangers, but really you too?

OMG! you are a great sewer, I am lucky if I can sew a button back on:sad2:

Looking forward to what you saw:lmao:

Day Five Animal Kingdom Day Continued

If you recall from the last segment, we were arriving at the train station in Africa to go out to the Conservation Station. I was a little bit behind everyone because I was writing notes and pushing the stroller. Then I stopped there. Well, fortunately, (I think) I wouldn't really make you wait three months for the rest of the trippie! So I look up from writing my notes and just beyond my DH, I see

two CM’s in white vests and blue shirts. I run around the stroller and look in disbelief. I start babbling something like, “IT’S YOU…IT’S THEM…IT’S THE DREAM TEAM…LOOK!!!!” They were explaining something about being in the right place at the right time. I somehow had the presence of mind to grab the camera and snap a pic.

IMGP3271.jpg

Next thing I know they reach into their bag and pull out Dream Fast Passes and Lanyards!party: I about died and was jumping up and down….ask Dawn Maree about my:cheer2: :cheer2: jumping up and down! DH was rolling his eyes at me though I am sure he was pleased. The girls were smiling and copying my excitement. All of the sudden they were gone. They had given out DFP to the 4 or 5 families at the train station and then disappeared. No wonder these guys are harder to spot than that lizard on a leaf.

A dream come true!!!

IMGP3272.jpg

Can you see the tabs around the edge? They were for the Safari, Kali, Primeval W, EE, Tough Bug, and Dinosaur.

IMGP3273.jpg

OK so now I was seriously on Cloud 9. :cloud9: I was an emotional wreck but in a good way! Just to be given a dream like that was an amazing experience. :jumping1: The CM did mention he only had 100 to give out for the day and that was it. They just gave out about 25 at our location so that’s not many folks. That was not lost on me at all. :woohoo: I was soooo thankful and amazed. pixiedust: You couldn’t have handed me $million and made me happier at that point. The little girls didn’t quite understand the gravity of the situation so I tried to explain it to them and Liz, who loved using FP at MK, couldn’t wait to go to the head of the all the lines.

IMGP3275.jpg

So eventually the train showed up. We had folded the stroller and were standing by the gate. Lots of people had shown up at this point. Interestingly enough when the gates opened, two girls (around 8-10 yrs) shoved me aside and ran to the train as I was getting the stroller thru the gate. Well, I couldn’t have cared less about anything since I was floating three feet in the air but apparently the CM didn’t like it and went over to talk to the girls. The only reason I know this is because on the train trip back she was talking to us and told me what she did. Now I am wondering where their parents were. What did they just let their kids run up ahead shoving people out of the way???? Oh well.

On the train:
IMGP3276.jpg

The train ride was so neat cause you sit sideways and can see everything as you pass by it. They pointed out several different animal-holding areas where they nurse sick animals or raise youngins or bring all the safari animals back to sleep at night. Kind of a peak behind the scenes.

Different holding areas:

IMGP3278.jpg

We get to our station and disembark. There is a winding path under the cool trees back to the Conservation station. We ditch the stroller and head inside after a few pics.

IMGP3279.jpg

The funniest thing happened next. The wallpaper scared DD2! Hahahahaha ! It was a mural type paper with the heads of all different animals. It was bright and colorful but I think little Bell thought they were real! Fortunately I could hold her and she was fine getting past it. Once in the main part of the building we browsed the different stations…there was a feeding area, a vet area, several displays of animals etc. Several CM congratulated us which went on all day! As we were crossing the lobby area, Rafiki and Pocahontas show up. Yippee! We get in a very short line and soon enough little Belle is snuggled up in Rafiki’s mane. She loved how soft he was! Pocahontas was just plain classy.:goodvibes She was sooo sweet and gentle. We tried talking Cindy into standing for the photo but she was still to shy. She asked us all about our day and FP too! It was a nice interaction and quiet since there weren’t that many people here early in the day.
