My 18 year old son and I will be doing a Universal trip and he really wants to do Disney for a day. He's been many times but he's my youngest so was only 8 the last time we went and doesn't remember a lot of it. We'd like to hit all the parks except AK. We will be ubering from Universal and hope to make rope drop. Crowd levels that day are showing a 5 (April 22) with AK listed as the park to avoid. Park hours are 9-10 for MK (they do have extended hours that night so thinking maybe go there first?) and 9-9 for Epcot and HS. We are not planning on buying LL but could maybe buy them for Tron & Avatar. He really just wants to see the parks and we'll ride whatever we can get on as single riders or those with low wait times. We both love thrill rides, are there any new ones we shouldn't miss? Not sure what park to do first and the quickest way to get from one park to another. Also, how close can Ubers get to drop you off at the parks? I assume you go to the transportation building for MK? What about HS and Epcot? Also any idea how difficult it is to get an uber once the parks close? TIA!!

Avatar is in Animal Kingdom which I believe is the park you are not going to.

Tron - MK
Guardians of the Galaxy - Epcot
Rise of the Resistance - DHS

Uber can get close to Epcot and DHS. An Uber can only access Ticket and Transportation Center for MK. Minnie Van can drop off close to MK. Dropping off at nearby resorts is not permitted, except for Minnie Vans.

April 22 it Earth Day so there are activities at AK that day so the suggestion to avoid it that day.

Really a personal choice but I would start at MK for Tron right at park open. Yes Uber drops you at the parking lots of each park, and for MK it is a the TTC. You can also use the Minnie Van service provided by Lyft to get right to the Resort bus loop just outside the MK main entrance.

Also any idea how difficult it is to get an uber once the parks close?
Not a problem before midnight but there is a spike in wait times right at park closing time.

Extended Evening hours have no noticeable effect on day crowds.

There are very few single rider lines. I think of your parks it’s just TT, Remy and ROTR. If you or he are a Star Wars it’s a bid sad to skip the beginning since SR dumps you in the experience about 1/3 of the way through. Unfortunately LL availability might not even be an option since you’re looking at 1 day tickets from off-site.

Keep in mind you can hop in line up to closing time so save a long line for last thing to maximize time.

Have you already priced our park hopping tickets? Some people rightfully choke when they find out the cost to upgrade single day tickets to park hoppers.

Yes, we have priced them and are aware they are $$$. Luckily our Universal tickets are free due to a relative working there so this will be our big splurge. Great idea to hop in line at closing time, used to always do that on our trips.

Since you've never experienced RotR, please don't do the single-rider line. As a PP mentioned, you'll miss far too much of this fantastic attraction.

You're trying to fit a lot into one day, but it is possible, with some strategizing and also some luck.

There's a recent thread with a detailed account of a couple who went to all 4 parks in one day and did 17 attractions, including all the headliners. Yes, they used LLMPs and LLSPs, and I think the expense is justified in your case, if you can afford it.
