We (my friend and I) leave Thursday morning for our kid free, husband free weekend!
I can hardly sit still, I am so excited!

You do realize you will be there the same time as the crazy Dis Ladies group who will also be kid-free and dh-free? You should wave if you see us. We all have shirts/lanyards that match so we'll be hard to miss.

I know! I realized that after we booked.

I'll have a baggelini and pink mickey crocs, so I SHOULD be recognizable as a DIS-er. I may just have to go get a lime green mickey head for my bagg.

Also- DH is as the pp described, but the kids are actually GLAD I am going. Because I promised to bring them back loot. Now every day, it's, "Mom, when are you going to go get me Princess toys?"

Don't feel guilty. You are going to be an even better mom by taking some time for yourself to rejuvinate(?). You'll be relaxed and can do all of that great mom stuff that you do only 200x's better.

Oh yeah, and hubby will appreciate you all the more as he sees just how hard you work.

As far as DH goes, that's what I am hoping for lol. You should have seen his eye start to twitch when I told him he had to make them lunches for school. "Can't you do it before you go?" He wheedled. "No," I said. "It's a sandwich, for crying out loud, not brain science."
