OH DEAR!!!

It seems they still haven't fixed the call for help feature. And if CL's are called into question for doing their job, then I guess I lose faith in the "security" of the game.

If the good people are punished while the bad people are let go, then there must be a change.

Wow.. Dara...I can't believe that they sent you a message of you being banned when your the one repeorting someone??? I mean what is going on lately? You are a CL and do they really believe that you are playing around or what? You wouldn't report someone unless they needed it! I know I have seen alot of abusive people on vmk lately...and they really need to pay attention to the CL's if they want to try and correct this problem! I certainly can understand your feelings! GO get them Dara!!!

Dara, that is awful and despicable. I am at a loss for words right now. I have heard of other players lately reporting really terrible stuff, and they have been told they can get banned for abusing the report feature as well. Ludicrous.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: VMK needs to stop worrying about giving us new stuff and start worrying about fixing things they do have, namely the report a player/call for help/contact us features. The way it is now is unacceptable and just darned wrong.

I hope you give somebody above them an earful, the report button is a joke lately. You report violations and you get a response making it look like you are at fault for whatever reason.

I have decided to not use the report button anymore until somebody at VMK can explain the crazy answers we have been getting lately, if the site goes downhill so be it, I will still be able to play pirates and be happy. I will mind my own business, VMk can explain to all the angry parents why their children are saying such things after seeing it posted on their site.

Although the OP asked this to be closed, we believe this to be a serious issue and have reopened it. Our members need to feel free to post both compliments and critiques of VMK, without in-game repercussions.

Thank you for re-opening this thread. Although I missed the original post, I have to tell you what happened to me yesterday. I was not banned, but was riding the Peter Pan ride. When I stepped off, immediately there was a message from staff to the room, Fantasyland Courtyard. I noticed my little pm envelope flashing and this is what I found:

I did NOT say a word, I had only just entered the room. I think staff needs to be more diligent in reviewing chat logs before warnings or bans. I was a bit shocked! Had I been a child, I would have wondered what that message meant and what I had done to deserve such a message.

Tonight, I was witness to three girls in Central Plaza talking about "shoot ill dead" and "run and hide or dead". They were reported, but nothing was done. I also reported using the contact us button, hoping someone at VMK is doing their job and reviewing text logs. I understand that there are only a few moderators in-game and they can get busy responding to reports, so hopefully using contact us will get results.

Note to Dara: CALL VMK!!! Don't rely on email!!! Call them directly. There is a contact number somewhere in the stickies. Make them review your chat logs and tell you exactly why you were banned. Good luck! Oh, and you won't lose CL status if it's proven you did nothing to earn that ban.
