I just wanted to pop over and say hi and introduce myself. My name is Angela and as the id says I am the mom of Remy and Holland (we call her Holly). I have no clue what time it is in the UK, but I know it is past midnight her so I am off to bed. Maybe I will stop lurking since I got "caught" LOL.
Thought I'd pop in and see what what is happening on this board due to the CB thread. My DD17's boyfriend is from Manchester. She got to visit the UK with his family last summer and is absolutely in love with England!
Reminds me of my 2nd time in WDW. I'm a bit of a crisps fiend, and when ordering my meal, I also ordered a bag of chips. The CM smiled and asked if I knew they werent chips as in french fries. I knew about the differences so just smiled back and said yes. Don't know why but it still makes me laugh today.
I can imagine that she had recently had a brit ordering chips, and then storming back saying "these aren't chips, how am i supposed to put salt and vinegar on these?!"
All right, I'm coming out of lurkdom, too. My DH & I are crazy about the UK ever since we spent our 20th anniversary there exploring London & Bath. We're planning a 25th anniversary trip next year, to either York & Scotland, or the castles of Wales. Unless ya'll have some better suggestions.
