I'm not really sure. My memory is like 1/2 the size of a peanut.

Ahh no nothing fun to do tonight. I wish there was...That's almost as bad as mine. I have 4 kids and most days I'm lucky I can remember my name.
I only asked because we had someone stop in here and chat for a little with us and then she disappeared. (I hope we didn't scare her away or anything). Anyway, your posting style was a little similiar to hers.
Anything exciting going on tonight? I'm kinda watching Spongebob with my kids and just relaxing a little.

Guess I should pay a little more attention.
Aww im really sorry to hear that your plans got crushed by the pleasure island closing. It's sudden, and sad.Nothing too exciting either. I've been working on decluttering my house but it's slow going. I find it so hard to let go of things. I'm getting there though. I worked on my Disney plans a little since they made the announcement about Pleasure Island closing. DH and I were going to spend a night by ourselved on vacation since we have family joining us and DSis said she would watch our kids one night for us. Now I have to figure out what else we can do.
Oh wait... I found Pikester and the kids at the beginning of summer break!

Okay...I think I am caught up.
Thanks everyone for the wonderful anniversary wishes.Loved the anniversary smilies. And for the camping suggestions in PA. I'll look into that.
Our anniversary wasn't so happy though. We took the kids w/ us out for a dinner. (Had a great waiter and were able to tip him nicely cause the kids meals were free.Anyway, when we got home I developed a real bad pain in my right side and had to go to the ER late last night. (Poor kids were up w/ us til almost 3am
) Everything turned out okay and they couldn't figure out why I had so much pain. It's better today but I'll have to check in w/ my doctor on Monday. Haven't seen her in a few years so I hope I don't get the lecture.

I am all for a NASCAR event at Disney. That would be great. They sell packages for the Daytona 500 w/ a stay at WDW, ride to Daytona, race tickets and party. Unfortunately though, it is VERY expensive. Hope to do that someday. We've only been to a real NASCAR race at Michigan because the place I used to work got me FREE tickets. That was fun.
Well, I am going to rest up today. No strawberry picking like I had hoped.![]()
Two tips I've found on the crumb situation...
Try refridgerating the cake before frosting. (At least be VERY certain its all the way cooled, but a few hours in the fridge will make it even more solid.)
Do a very light coating of frosting first... don't worry about full coverage. Let it sit for a little bit and then go back for a top coat. Some crumbs will get into that first coat, but probably won't break thru onto the top.
And, always put a big dollop of icing down and spread in one direction out from the big pile, if you try and go back and forth, your icing on the cake will stick to your icing on your spatula and pull up crumbs.
Hope this helps!!
Hey Pikester!!! How was your birthday celebration today?
There were, counting myself, 10 people for cake and ice cream. The cake was delicious if I do say so myself. As I mentioned before it was a Devil's Food cake. I find that that flavor comes out more moist then a regular chocolate cake.It went very well! Got all my favorite things for my birthday. A $50, a couple of $20s, a $10 and some $5s!There were, counting myself, 10 people for cake and ice cream. The cake was delicious if I do say so myself. Sounds nice. But I would much rather have a couple of 50s and a 20.![]()
How many times have you been to Disney?
Anyways, I'm looking for ideas on what DH and I can do on our first ever "no kids" night in Disney. We were going to go to Pleasure Island but it's closing in August (?). Any ideas?First trips are so special in their own way. I had loved Disney before our first trip but DH finally discovered what I loved so much on our first trip. He finally got it.Anyways, I'm looking for ideas on what DH and I can do on our first ever "no kids" night in Disney. We were going to go to Pleasure Island but it's closing in August (?). Any ideas?
Thought I'd share it with the "night owls" here on the TK board.
