Ya know what? I was thinking about the thread-hijacking today. It's really annoying and it's been happening a lot, especially this past week.

but I have one question...Why is it ok for shelby to start a new random thread but it is not ok if anyone else to start one. Because we tried stopping the hi-jacking by starting a new thread but people kept complaining saying that you should use the Random thread. But now there is the TEST thread which is another random thread. I am not trying to start a fight but I am trying to get my point across.

The test thread did not start as a random thread.

It became one.

But it was a thread for her to Test something and should have died down...but just because she is Shelby everyone has to post in it and hi-jacked it so it turned into a random thread.

We already have two random threads so why would you even want to start another? It would just get shut down.
And you don't have to start a whole new random thread for the same 4 people to talk to eachother. It's called PMing.

That's what I'm getting at. If it was anyone else, they'd be flamed a little bit, then it would die.

A thread that never had a real intention cannot be hijacked.
If you wanted us to, we could have continued to do what she was doing...

Actually the thread came out before the Test thread...and it wasn't for only 4 people it was for anybody who wanted to join. Its just people assumed that it was just for 4 people but if you were there the night we jacked the thread we enjoyed when people came in and talked with us. So it was for anybody.

Not everone has AIM or any type of IM. And we can't use the DIS Chat because it hasn't worked in a while.

Most computers come with some sort of messaging though, just saying. Every time we have to re-install the computer annoying MSN chat pops up for us to install or even Windows Live
