Thread in bold??

i was wondering why are some thread in bold print and others regular? i have tried to figure out the difference, but have no idea?
i wish it was a way to distinguish if i have read that thread already, b/c i feel so all over the place on these boards. so much amazing information!

Bolded threads are ones that have had new posts since the last time you visited the boards. It doesn't mean you have read them.
